Find out what Japanese restaurants to try in Taichung. Among its many tourist attractions, Taichung offers a downtown shopping experience similar to that of Tokyo or Manhattan, a bustling nightlife, and a cuisine to please even the pickiest palate. Travelers come to this city to feast their eyes on the temples, markets, parks, and museums. Touring families often visit the Taichung National Museum of Natural Science to marvel over the exhibits or the Feng Chia night market to purchase local goods. But perhaps what Taichung is known for the most is Bubble tea, the most famous beverage in the region.

went for the dinner with my friend, it's a japanese cuisine restaurant located in the alley. With great ambiences, you can enjoy the delicated japanese dishes prepared by the experienced chef. The seafood(sashimi åºèº«) is super fresh! Moreover, the chef is good at processing the ingredients, the natural flavor is enhanced. Highly recommend it !ä½æ¼å°å··è£¡çæ¥æ¬æçé¤å»³ï¼ç¨é¤ç°å¢ä¹¾æ·¨èé©ï¼æµ·é®®é¡é¤é»å¾æ°é®®ï¼é¸ç¨é£æé½è »ä¸é¯çï¼ä¸æé度調å³ï¼å¯ä»¥ååå°é£ç©åå§çé®®çï¼æºç¤ä¹å¾æå¿ï¼æå訪ï¼

This place had some delicious breakfast. The food was very appealing and had wide array of authentic Taiwanese meals. One of my favorites was the breakfast dumplings and egg drop soup. The chilled soy bean milk with a touch of sugar was great as well. æè¬æ¨çæ¯æèæè·ï¼æåææ´åªåï¼æ´æç¼æ¨å次çèè¨ï¼

We had our own chef, our own two waiters and the entire 7 course meal was expertly prepared and cooked right in front or our eyes, it was awesome and made for a very relaxed and interesting mealtime with great flavours!! Check out my photos for a evidence!!

New restaurant that serves very high quality ingredients with excellent service. The style is very much Japanese with a light broth for the dipping of the ingredients. The selection on the menu is limited and focused which is the sign of a professional restaurant. The sake, wine, beer selection is quite good with decent price. The atmosphere is very cozy with clean Japanese feeling. We enjoyed very much and will be back.

This is the second times I dine in this restaurant. The reason for our re visit is that the food quality is good! The vegetable buffer bar is nice, we can take any kinds of vegetable you like. The rice is tasteful too! I highly recommended to order the almond tea for dessert! You will definitely like it!

The Services is nice, food is fresh but the price is little bit high. Server number seems not match to customers, most of the time they are busy and have no time for your request (e.g. refill water)

Don't be mis-guided by fabulous pictures online to think this is a fine dining place. It only cost you TWD 698 per full meal! Though budget wouldn'y make a restaurant rated "good" if the food is average, which is the case here.Waiting staff are nice and polite. However services were too quick. Dish by dish without a minute to breathe. Of course you cannot expect 2-hour hotel dining at the price but still they could slow down a little. The meal was extensive. Appetizers are four little good dishes of pickled food. No complaint. Clam Soup was nicely put in a pot with candle light heating underneath so you have warm soup throughout the meal. Unluckily it tasted normal and not particularly fresh comparing to the amount of clams I could see inside.Salmon and grapefruit salad was again presented nicely with a half red grapefruit as its base. It tasted as a normal fruit salad. While the sashimi was generous in portion comparing to the price, the fish and scallop were just okay. They were too cold out of the fridge and were put directly on ice. The ice were too minced and not dry enough so they stuck onto the fish which make it worse. They should learn from professional Japanese chef on handling sashimi.Beef stone-grill was average on beef quality and comparable to its price. Nice little hot stone provided for my own cooking which is fun. While if they can provide a few more pieces of cooking paper for change (to avoid moisture of used paper affecting the grill effect) it would be even better.Pot rice with mushroom and chestnut tasted good. I doubted if it was really cooked with the tin pot as the pot was luke warm. But not issue on the temperature of the rice.I chose fruit as the dessert therefore not much to comment on. While the carrot juice as a drink was fresh and sweet. Overall a good dining experience however they would need to learn some basic Japanese serving and cooking technique if they target to be branded as gourmet.Hygiene was normal, dirts inside the lamp boxes overhead, and a small insect fell down during my meal
