IN restaurant 28th floor (we had only breakfast). Breakfast costs $T660 per person. The dining room is large and airy, though very plain, compared to the rest of the hotel. The food choices are very disappointing for a Western person. I wanted a vegetable omelet, and I got an awful thing full of corn kernels and other indistinguishable gooey items; it was completely inedible. When I asked the cook if they had spinach, mushrooms, peppers and such, the answer was NO. There isn't even a good choice of Chinese vegetables, like we had in Beijing. I spoke to the manager on duty, and I think he didn't understand my problem, as he didn't say much of anything. Coffee was terrible. In any case, we wasted $T1300! So overpriced. My room was 3203,Jan, 7-8, 2018.The picture of the omelet choices attached. Dear Ms reginafug: Thank you very much for taking time off your busy schedule to complete the guest questionnaire during your most recent stay at The Landis Taichung. This was immediately brought to my attention, about the breakfast of choices are very disappointing, and I will share your suggestions with our manager, I wish to express our concern as well as embarrassment in this situation. In the western part of town Small outlet with about 10 small tables . Friendly and efficient service . Set dinner are charged minimum 1,850 to 4,850 We went for 2,850 set All dishes are very pleasing to the eyes . Fresh Oyster from Japan is as good as having it in Hokkaido . The lobster , Foie Gras with duck as main are great Dessert are nice .Tea and nice coffee come complimentary too We enjoy the meal very much

It was a Chinese French fusion which will not earn any stars or hats. If the owner wants to aim at the true high end, try more attention to details and dining etiquette.To start with, you do not serve bread as a course despite is bake on house. The suggestion to have your bread with Chinese XO source was a real gimmick. The wine list was really reasonably price. Ordered by the glass and alas, it was no where near 120 ml per serve. The chocolate coating for the chocolate mousse was way too thick to be made by a real chef.The price probably gave the quality away as it was comparatively cheap.

The place is undeniably elegant and high-class and the La Fête Lunch Set is sophisticated and delicious. The included soups, appetizers, and desserts are clean and colorful and scrumptious, the Prime Ribeye steak is tender and perfectly cooked, and the Scallop, Prawn, and Fish Platter is fresh and superb. Both Sets cost NT1380. This is excellent French food at reasonable prices, indeed!

By far the rudest and screwed up restaurant in this price range we have dined in Taiwan. A great location with a great name only to fail and fall completely flat. The location was opened in 2016 which is a shock considering how run down it is. The restrooms are NASTY and the built in Chef table area is used as a break room for employees to goof off in. Heck the view to the water feature was blocked by curtains! This restaurant is confusing in decor and menu selection. Do they specialize in fish (aquatic) or steak because the selection is confused. We ordered a Cesar salad and a mixed seafood appetizer with a bottle of wine to start. Surprise it all came out at the same time! Our waitress was off in the corner playing with co workers while we waited for our wine. Only after I voiced my displeasure did it arrive. Surprise again our check came before we ordered dinner! I guess they didnât need anymore sales. This place isnât worthy of your hard earned money. SAD...I hope the owners read this and take corrective action before you find your business closed because your employees are lazy and donât care about the customers.

Amazing food! Immaculately served dishes, friendly and helpful staff. You can get Prosecco here which is hard to come by in Taichung! On way to Changhua, we decided stop at Taichung for a lunch , based on TripAdvisor we choose Bella Roma, we didnât had to wait for table even on Sunday. Location: not easy to find even with google map , addresses on TripAdvisor is bit complicated.Food: honesty I would give 5 star.However my appetizer served when we almost finished our 2 pizza & and a pasta.... Seems very normal @ Bella Roma.Service: As early reviewer mentioned that there is no service at all. So donât expect so called service from Bella Roma. This is what I like to hear since I serve food.Of course I am a bit sad to receive 3 stars instead, since they seem to be given for some factors as location and service. Indeed, the first is a problem of Google Maps which cannot exactly show the location since is in a residential area...I have already claim it long time ago.
