Like many places in Helsinki, Pompiers only serves a fixed price buffet at lunchtime. Pompiers was towards the higher price (19 euros as opposed to 10) but we were happy with this price given ths location, ambience and food quality.The soup of the day was carrot with feta (delicious); around six salads; dish of the day was arctic chard with noodles; tea or coffee.I personally found some of the dishes a bit salty but I found this in other Helsinki eateries so it may be the Finnish way.Service was efficient and friendly. If I was in Helsinki again I would try for dinner.

Charming light and airy glass veranda cafe on the esplanade. Several window tables to watch life outside. A few tables in unique round small glass âroomsâ.Classy place for a coffee, pastry, glass of wine and a sandwich or snack.The cafe is self serve.

This place is located next to the port, it has a terrace and seating inside. I wouldnât call it too comfortable and outside seating doesnât have a proper view. The service is not bad but nothing special, so is the food. There was in the menu the Seafood platter claimed to be enough for three people. In reality it is OK for 1 person. There were two of us and each needed and additional dish. I tasted seafood much better. The selection of wines isnât good either. Overall it is an average place, I am sure there much better restaurants in town.Hi! We are very sorry that your visit did not meet our quality standards this time around. We had a lunch in this Vietnamese restaurant and was my first visit there. Have to say, that I was very positively surprised how good their food was! Can't remember my portion name but as my wife said, it's always the first on they lunch menu :-) Chicken, coriander, baked sweet potato, noodles, spring rolls and very tasty sauce.It might be difficult to find a way to the restaurant, it's on the second floor but signs are good enough to find the place. Service was like a fast-as-a-shark, and very friendly. My strong recommendation!

We found ourselves in the area of Vanha Kauppahalli, the Helsinki Old Market Hall during lunch time. There are a limited number of dining options on a Sunday afternoons, however Story looked like a nice place to dine. I enjoyed the Kermainen lohikeitto (creamy salmon soup), while my dining companion enjoyed the Story Burger. Both dishes were good and the atmosphere of the Market Hall festive.
