Great place to stay
Reviewed By jorgesQ1868HWI love Töölo towers! Staff is friendly and helpful, it is close to the city center and transport, and you can walk everywhere. It is safe and the most incredible breakfast is included. I have been a guest for about 10 years and every time I go to Helsinki, it is my home away from home. I always leave my valuables I. The room and nobody ever touches them. 100% recommended!!!

Hiisi Homes Helsinki Haaga is an apartment hotel offering newly refurbished studios for shorter and longer stays. All apartments are furnished and well equipped. The location next to the Pohjois-Haaga train station is ideal and the commute is quick and easy to Helsinki Airport, Helsinki city center and Pasila as well as Expo and Convention Centre Messukeskus. Parking is available on the street and there is also a garage available.
Overall good but had many technical issues during the stay
Reviewed By Jonas RDidn't send info about arrival, so I should call them. Internet connection was not working in one room. When they changed rooms internet still disconnected if I used few devices (e.g. laptop and mobile device), so it was unable to work from hotel with laptop. Knock knock system didn't worked few times so I should call. Calling charged extra per call and per minute.

A nice apartment for a great holiday
Reviewed By Passenger402343We were staying at the place for 3 nights. The apartment is new and really nice! Black and white pieces of furniture finely harmonize. That makes the room very cozy) Everything was just as at the pictures and in the discription. We had a TV-set, a fridge, kitchenware, towels, soap - all what was needed. A subway station and several bus stops are not far from the place. 3 supermarkets are 10-15 min walking distance. We kept in touch with the owner by email. He was always ready to answer and help!Thanks for wonderful accommodation!

Hellsten Helsinki Senate is located in Katajanokka, one of the most exclusive districts in the heart of Helsinki. It is a promontory surrounded by water, just a stone's throw from the city centre and its attractions. Katajanokka is separated from the mainland by a channel, but it is possible to reach the city area by four bridges. Katajanokka is also the place where ferries from Stockholm and Tallin dock. Helsinki-Vantaa airport is just a 30 minute drive away. All of the major amenities, including shops, cafes, restaurants and cinemas are within walking distance from Hellsten Senate. The hotel has 52 designed one and two bedroom apartments each with a kitchenette, telephone, satellite TV and free internet access. Some of the apartments have their own sauna. A common sauna can be used as well as common laundry facilities. This old renovated building from 1915 has self contained rooms and apartments ranging in sizes from 28 to 160 square meters penthouse suite. All apartments are equipped with kitchenettes for cooking your own food.
Need renovation
Reviewed By lizatravel555Hotel especially second building would need a lot of renovation but they haven't done it yet, their overall attitude is careless to anything. Building is very old maybe its for you if you like vintage and old architecture. Room has kitchen it would be plus but it is also very old even they advertise it is modern but no its very old and without stove but there is micro. They has rules guests must wash plates if eat anything, then what cleaners do? one cleaner has been the most lazy I have ever seen. I didn't get to choose the room type so I guess they has not many better room types or maybe they just want to keep better room empty so its not necessary to pay for cleaner again and again it something I guess. Some rooms has cigarette smell left but why they advertise nonsmoking so why they doesn't keep smokers rooms for smokers only and offer those for non-smokers after smokers. Smokers rooms should offer for smokers only. The feeling I got here is they are careless and doesn't care how rooms were. Usually in other hotels workers go to check rooms conditions but not here they doesn't bother just staying whole day in the office, I guess they need workers who care how rooms are. With better and more often cleaning rooms could be much better but unfortunately management doesn't care also workers doesn't care rooms condition. It doesn't take so much to take care: better cleaning better caring. Corridor's floor was also left dirty and all around run down. Location near seaside and historical buildings could be interesting location but unfortunately they doesn't care much of cleaning so next time will choose something else with better attitude. Didn't find many stores next to just one grocerystore and walking to centre. I didn't see anybody wearing mask even now is this season to wear those not sure if they care enough. Workers seem to be happy but careless. I didn't expect luxury but next time have to choose something else because management and most of the workers clearly just doesn't care of rooms condition. I wonder how they can call some ordinary old rooms as superior. In the weekend hotel has been noisy. Maybe all of these things could be ok if price is cheap but price is usually quite expensive compared to quality. Next time will choose other hotel because of careless attitude.

Better than any hotel
Reviewed By Dewberry AThis is an authentic wooden house which was built in the 1880's and was home to the grand parents of the owner of the guesthouse, the super friendly Janne. The place is in good condition and decorated with good taste so that we could feel the history, and staying here gave us a lot more authentic experience of what it would be like living in the area compared to living in a hotel. We stayed in the spatious apartment which was great for two adults, a toddler and a baby. Our toddler loved that there were the two bunnies and cat in the yard. We had all amenities we needed in the house and location was superb with the beach, play yard and downtown just a short walk away and grocery store also close by in the other direction. Only minus would be that the walls are quite thin so we could here the snoring and other noise from the neighboring apartment to our bedroom. We slept well nevertheless. Big plus for air conditioning during the heat wave!

Отель расположен в местечке Стрёмфорс рядом с Ловисой, где раньше функционировала мельница и были кузнечные мастерские. Здесь есть музей, работающий летом, продаются кованые изделия и поделки, сделанные местными умельцами. Рядом ресторан, будоражащий обоняние вкусными запахами, озеро и симпатичные деревянные постройки прошлого века. Нас впечатлило и место, и сам отель, простой но весьма душевный. Душевые общие и кухня тоже, но есть вся необходимая утварь и продукты чтобы сварить на завтрак кашу и кофе. Когда мы жили в отеле, кроме нас были заняты только 2 комнаты.Если хочется побыть вдалеке от современного бешеного ритма, это то что надо!

Lovely little stay in a compact apartment
Reviewed By Mark OGood location in terms of being close to tram connections and airport etc, but the other side of this is... it is a little bit rough the main street of Helsinki. Possibly the only rough area of Helsinki in fairness... Nontheless, we really enjoyed the hotel itself - extremely modern, great sauna and self check in.
