Villa Molnby is a cozy secluded hotel in a picturesque location called Ilola only some 8 km from the old Porvoo downtown and 50 km from Helsinki. The hotel was built in 2010 on the site of an ancient mill between a river and a forest lake. It's 11 contemporary comfortable rooms and 7 spacious apartments with fully equipped kitchens are at our guests’ disposal. The unique combination of contemporary Scandinavian comfort with pristine Finnish nature creates an unforgettable atmosphere that makes every one of our guests feel not just like a guest, but as a good old friend. Closest to the Villa Molnby Hotel are stalls for horse riding, a zoo with farm animals and a prestigious golf club. Medieval streets of Porvoo with museums and old estates, exquisite restaurants and great stores for shopping are just 8 km away from the Hotel. Not farther away are Kokonniemi Mountain Skiing Resort and sports and spa facilities with a swimming pool. Reviewed By bezdomnyi_finHotel was in the middle of forrest and fields. 13km away from Porvoo centrum. Very quiet and restful surroundings. Room was nice and tidy. Rent sauna was very nice and located in the tower. Breakfast was large and versatile. I suppose we would end up here again.

Glamping in the woods
Reviewed By mat271Glamping tent was lovely. There was a birds nest outside and I happily spent time watching the woods and the birds. Little rain just added camping-feel to our stay. Private sauna was a good addition altough the 50 min timeslot felt just a bit short. Breakfast was really good with concrete measures towards sustainability and reducing waste. Thumbs up to that!

The most beautiful place by the sea
Reviewed By MaaritK157The hotel was in a beautiful place just by the sea. Room was furnished in a very stylish and modern style. The bed was big and very comfortable. I loved the bathrobes and slippers too! Minibar was very well equipped. Our dog was welcommed and there was a delicious bag of treats for her too in the room. Since it was winter and very cold ourside we also enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace. Even though we really enjoyed the peace, silence and the beautiful landscape we missed the TV in the evening. We will definitely come back in the summer!

Reviewed By Tero WAn OK place to spend a night or two while exploring the Fiskars village. Nothing fancy but clean and tidy. Breakfast was OK, not that fancy but it had enough choices for our purposes. An OK experience all in all.

Reviewed By AmKreuz86Where to start? What a beautifully located and looking B&B this is! It was so easy to find in the old town and seconds away from everything. We arrived early and the owner had let us keep our stuff there until we were able to check in. That gave us time to go for a nice walk and get some food. The owner was really polite, informative and just made you feel welcome. We arrived back from our walk and we had been upgraded to a double room which we were very happy about. The room had the originally beams and oozed character. It had a nice wooden floors and a super comfy bed! The TV was pretty small but we probably watched it for an hour later in the evening so didn't care. The hot drink making facilities were in a communal part of the building where there was a couch, TV etc. Was really pretty. The shower is located next to it. The toilet is also out of the room. Was always free when we needed it and same with the shower. The views were amazing too. I thought anyway! My only fault about the room/place is it needs some extra power sockets or leads to be able to charge phone etc otherwise you compromise other things. The breakfast was a nice selection and tasted of a good quality! Both were happy. 10/10 is easily given to this b&b. We will be back for sure in the summer, maybe sooner. There's a lovely little souvenir shop 15 seconds from the front door that makes handmade items. Well worth a visit. We got some lovely stuff for home.

Excellent value for money

The hostel is located in the 7th floor of the very lively Aikatalo building which many locals know the building very well but they don't know that a hostel is located inside it :) Self check-in process was very easy. The triple room was of good size with plenty of wall hangers and open cupboard. The shared bathrooms have bidet/Shattafa which was a very pleasant surprise to me. Wifi was superfast. The owner was very nice and helpful. Highly recommended

A beautiful 18th century manor
Reviewed By SoBe8889Mustio manor is a beautiful historic building and it also has a hotel and restaurant in the premises. The manor itself is an 18th century wooden 3 story wooden building. We took a tour of it with a very knowledgeable and interesting tour guide and enjoyed it very much. Taking a tour is the only way to see and visit the manor house. We also stayed in the hotel. The room was good in size and the bed was comfortable, but there was a musty smell in the bathroom and somewhat also in the room and the corridor and the room had been last decorated probably about 25 years ago. You could also hear talking from the other rooms, but otherwise the surroundings were nice and quiet. It is to be noted that the hotel rooms are located in several different buildings, this review only applies to our room in the Edelfelt building near the manor house. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good and well presented, and the service was friendly. The restaurant building was nice and cozy. The breakfast was a bit too simple and we would have wanted to see a bit more choice of bread and also cheese, ham and jam. The grounds were gorgeous and very big, so it was ideal for a stroll in the park in the evening and in the morning.

Hotel Sea Front is situated near the sea in a peaceful environment, only a short walk away from the center of Ekenas. You can find restaurants, shops, the railway station as well as the summery beaches or ski tracks during the winter, close by. Our hotel has 20 rooms, a restaurant for groups up to 150 people, two conference rooms and a sauna. During the year, we arrange different happenings and during the summer months we open our ice cream bar with locally produced ice cream.
Great hotel in Ekenäs
Reviewed By lindamariaholmstromWe stayed at the hotel when attending a wedding in Ekenäs. The check-in went great (if you're not here between 15-18 you need to call and inform before 18, the receptionist is available until 21 if you're late and called). The room was nice and clean (the have renovated and updated the rooms). The curtains were great, it was really dark in the room during the summer (there are drapes and draw down curtains...the draw down curtain scared us during the morning because it went up without us touching it). The parking was free and breakfast included. We walked from the hotel to the center of Ekenäs in 18 minutes, so really close. The breakfast was good, they has vegan youghurt, glutenfree options (cereal, bread, cookies), fruits, scrambled eggs, sausages, hard boiled egg, oat porridge, croissants, juices. The staff was friendly and loved the view from the back yard. Would come here again next time I need a hotel in Ekenäs.

Disappointed by the building
Reviewed By Unique207The hotel has a hospital smell from entrance. Inside everything looked very clean but it gives you the hospital sensation even the room and toilet. We could not stay in it and my husband with his asthma was affected by the smell so we had to leave. The noise from other rooms were coming through the air-conditioning system.
