Ordered Burger, fish and chicken plates... it took 55 minutes! to get the food! Waitress told that there were rush at sudden... there were only 8 persons + us 3... how it can be rush??? Specially it is Asuntomessu ( House-and living Fairs) time, so could imagine that the "Gastro Restaurant" could be prepared?! They told that parillas were over booked.. Well.. i think they just forget our order couse most of clients did get their food on time, even them who came after us....Ok, then the food; The Burger was good, fish were ok merely average. The chicken was "normal OK-group"- food, not "gastro".Quite large wine and beer selection.Wery polite service!Location easy to accsess.

I'm sorry to say but the surroundings were really poor - the first look was that it's probably closed and broke because of the long grass outside.. we still entered the restaurant and what we saw was three staff members eating their breakfast at 1 p.m. and talking to us with their mouth full.. everything smelled of fat.. I don't understand where are these beautiful pictures taken and by who are these good reviews written... really ugly and unpleasant environment. Sorry but you really need to do some cleaning and rebranding!

Amarillo in Mikkeli has new location and furniture. Menu is the same as in every other Amarillo in Finland. It was rather a busy Saturday when I and my boyfriend went to Mikkeli. I had had a whole day a certain Amarillo taste in my mouth so the expectations were high. We got our drinks pretty fast but then we had to wait our starters for about 20 or 25 minutes. For us it was too slow because all we ordered was simply muchos nachos and onion rings. Those were good when finally arrived, however.Then we waited for our main course for another 25 minutes. My boyfriend was satisfied with his fajitas but my chicken burger did not taste anything. Grilled pineapple was grilled only on the other side and was extremely cold. Grilled chicken fillet was hot enough but tasteless and there wasn't much more between sandwiches. This was our fist hamburger at Amarillo, and all the other dishes I have tried have been better than this. Maybe it was because busy Saturday afternoon or something, but I was little disappointed because usually I kinda like Amarillo food. It's not gourmet but it's fast and easy after shopping day!

After selling of old Finnish breweries to foreign owners (only Olvi in Iisalmi survived), there has been growth of small independent breweries in Finland. This pub is a good example - even better example as its beers are unique. Try e.g. Marsalkka Ale - taste full of fruits.Pub also serves pub food. We were there on Tuesday evening and it was quite quiet. Few fellows only. Apparently more visitors on weekends.
