Reviewed By Tomi_WickmanReally spacy camping. Clean showers, toilets and kitchens. The small shop has basic products available. The pizza in the restaurant was quite nice and there’s also salads and smaller snacks and burgers. The area is kids friendly. You have to buy your own wood for open fire bbq. The morning sauna is a bug plus.

Reviewed By MikaK846We arrived at QP-Resort at the end of a long drive on a Friday afternoon. We immediately felt very welcome; although there were other customers at the front desk, we were all catered for. The staff was very friendly and helpful, customer service in the right place. We were booked with a family room where the two rooms were connected by a door. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the beds in the daughter's words "enchanted", as she could have continued her dreams to the afternoon if her parents had not demanded her attendance for breakfast. The rooms have new comfortable beds and, depending on the price level, either private bathrooms or toilets and showers are located in the hallway. The price is very low even in the larger and more equipped rooms. Since it was low-season, we agreed to come for breakfast at about nine o'clock (late both mornings because the beds were enchanted) and breakfast was served at the table. The coffee was delicious, the porridge perfect, the eggs were fried as desired and the table had everything you need for a good breakfast. And if I had come up with anything else, I’m sure the staff would have arranged it, they were so friendly! And the restaurant! Delicious Italian and Finnish dishes, and when bringing the menu to the table, we were reminded to ask if something was missing from the list. The pasta carbonara my daughter missed was arranged, and it was so heavenly that we all ate it for lunch the next day. Chanterelle ravioli, whitefish and salmon were so wonderfully fresh and mouth-watering. And those desserts! Homemade ice creams, a chocolate cake that melted in your mouth and such good tiramisu! In the area you will find a barbecue hut, a campfire hut, an outdoor trail with breathing exercises and great scenery on the shore of Kallavesi. We went to the sauna in the evening (just ask). The owners plan to have all kinds of services in the area, as long as they have time. I highly recommend when looking for peaceful, interesting and affordable accommodation even for a larger group!

Lohimaa tarjoaa hotellimajoitusta noin 50 hengelle ja mökkimajoitusta noin 40 hengelle. Upea 120 paikkainen ravintola ja jättiterassi koskimaisemalla sekä kehuttu, joustava palvelu hemmottelevat asiakkaita ja Lohimaa onkin erittäin suosittu mm. häiden ja kokousten viettopaikka. Majoituspalvelut toimivat ympäri vuoden, ravintolapalvelut kesäkauden ulkopuolella ryhmille tilauksesta sekä tapahtumissa. Savon paras kalapaikka, kesäravintola Lohibaari palvelee kesäaikaan joka päivä ja onkin suosittu perheiden vierailukohde; lohen onginta, kalamyynti, kahvio, kalapainotteinen lounas, A-oikeudet. Saaliskalat asiakkaan haluamalla tavalla käsiteltynä mukaan tai paikan päällä nautittavaksi; savustus, loimutus, graavaus, kylmäsavustus, fileointi. Kalamyynti arkeen ja juhlaan palvelee ympäri vuoden.
Luxury in the middle of nature
Reviewed By brucewifeWe stayed two nights in the Lohimaa Lodge on our way down to Helsinki and were very happy. Our room was in a house ca. 50m away from the main house. The view directly on the river and birch trees from our little terrace was relaxing. A little kitchen was in the in the room. Furniture was modern. Dinner on the first night was a special experience. The italian cook was not only an italian chef but also a very gifted singer and sang some songs on the piano. There is also a fishing pond, where you can give the caught fishes to be fried. The stay in the hotel was very relaxing, we will come back!

Reviewed By ottov904Great views, good location, perfect size for family with 3 members, sauna, warm parking hall with elevator directly to apartment front door, equipment storage with service capabilities - this is everything you need for a nice accommodation in a ski resort. Unfortunately the quality is not what you'd expect for the price. Elevators not working at all during the stay, ski storage area is filthy, cleaning of the apartment is average and so on. You could live with this, but especially considering the price level, you'd expect a lot more. And the most disappointing thing is the level of customer service. All the contacts to customer service regarding the problems at the apartment were useless. No help while contacting the reception during the stay and no comments to feedback questionnaire after the stay... Quite big disappointment especially on this price level. There are plenty of better options to choose from in this area.

Reviewed By Roam51954949423Koronakauden rajoitukset olivat vielä voimassa, kun päätimme lounastaa Riemussa. Teini otti pitsan ja isovanhemmat 2 pihviateriaa yhden hinnalla. Pitsa oli riittävän iso ja maukas (osa pitsa-annoksesta otettiin jopa mukaan dogibägissä). Pihvit oli paistettu toivomusten mukaan mediumiksi. Maku oli kohdallaan - samoin toimiva sisäänheittohinnoittelu. Palvelu oli huomaavaista ja vuorovaikutus henkilökunnan kanssa koettiin välittömän ystävälliseksi. Miljöö oli vähäisestä asiakasmäärästä johtuen kylmähkö ja turhan avoin eikä erityisen viihtyisä.
