Very good gym
Reviewed By Rolling2000Junior suite with separate bed room, sauna and full kitchen was a great choice. There was no breakfast but the customers could use the Break Sokos Hotel Tahko restaurant at the price of 15 euros. Wifi needs to be fixed, it does not work fluently. For some reason, not even our phones own mobile data did not worked well at the room. Garage the the basement makes easy to take your luggages to the elevator. I appreciated the washing machine and the sauna which is ready to use all the time. Tahko Spa Suites hotel gym is very good and there is enough air even in hot weather. There is everything you could think for some serious gym work out. The staff is very friendly and for example gave as a free tickets to the gym as it was not busy time. They also arranged so that the cooling at the room was already on, when we arrived. Not every room has a cooling air conditioning so make sure that yours has if it is summer time. Tips to the good restaurants vere good and usefull. Would stay at Tahko Spa Suites another time, when in Tahko.

Way better than expected
Reviewed By 258harrikI did read the reviews Tripadvisor gives concerning this hotel and they were not flattering. We needed a place to stay for the school winter holiday and were late to book a cabin at Tahko, so we booked a room in the hotel. Expectations were not too high, especially since we had been many years ago in the hotel’s restaurant and bar and I did have a mental picture of a dated slightly shabby premises. Anyway, the hotel turned out to be a positive surprise. I think hotel might have been renovated lately, since our room was pretty fresh as was the bathroom. Shower corner even had a bright trasparent yellow plastic part which strongly hints a pretty recent refurbishment. Family room was spacy enough, the kids had these foldable beds which u can fold (turn?) on the wall, and thus have more space. Tv was very big and minibar exists but empty. Hotel’s restaurant I reviewed separately, and it was quite ok. Breakfast contains the usual u tend to have in Finland (which by the way is better than many places elsewhere in the world andit is included) but I’d say a tad better. Breakfast room (ie the restaurant) is pretty big but obviously busy in the prime time. Finns are polite and orderly people, which means all works just fine in the breakfast. Hotel has a sauna downstairs which was pretty nice, probably renovated as well. Sauna on the men’s and women’s side and a steambath which is unisex. Fortunately this is hotel, which restricts the often undesirable steambath stalkers. Bar in the lobby was quite nice and cozy as well, pretty small though. Slopes are very near, so you can fairly easily walk there. Big parking lot behind the hotel (free). All in all, my expectations were not too high, but they were exceed with flying colours. Service was very kind especially in the restaurant. Week 8 is expensive, that we knew already beforehand. Actually, I’m trying hard to think of something to complain but I cant figure out anything....we enjoyed our stay

Very nice apartments in great location
Reviewed By VuopalatClean, comfortable and well equiped apartments just in the center of Tahko ski/golf resort. Different sized apartments - have visited two different ones and both were nice. Apartments are within walking distance to ski lifts and majority of the resorts restaurants. Service is excellent! Easy to recommend!

Disappointed
Reviewed By VeskunAppartment should be for 4 people but 2 need to sleep on footstools which are similar and same quality as beds used when camping. On top of this there was also blankets missing so one of us had to sleep without a blanket!!! If you want to have a vacation and sleep at least longer than 5 am, choose another place. We had appartment 1 which is on top of the K-Market storage. Truck came 5 am to unload and the noise of the metal cages which he dragged on the floor was overwhelming!!! Whole family woke up and this noise continued until mid day when employees came to work. I will not recommend this place to anyone and We will never come to this place again..

Reviewed By JukkispukkisPerfect location with view to skiing slopes. Upstairs was too hot. The apartment is located on the second floor, which can be reached by external stairs. The apartment has a good entrance hall for outdoor equipment.

Wow, what a nice stay!
Reviewed By Make HTook a short miniholiday with the better half to Tahko.me We were met by the hosts Ansku and Markku, had a nice chat with them. Lots of events going on at Tahko, great service, great food and atmosphere. The Apartment was very clean, all equipment functional and of good quality. Interior was calm and peaceful. We spent a great evening at Tahko and rested well in big and comfort bed. Will definately come again! Thank You very much!

Perusmökki Kumpula
Reviewed By Terhi8Mökin hyvä puoli oli sen sijainti Tahkolla. Huono maku jäi monesta seikasta: tullessamme mökki oli todella likainen, tahmainen ja pölyinen. Esimerkiksi wc haisi todella pahalle ulko-ovelle saakka (ihmiseritteelle) ja sohvalla oli mm. spaghettia. Mökki tultiin pyynnöstämme siivoamaan, mutta tilanne ei juurikaan muuttunut, sillä käytössä olleet siivousvälineet olivat nekin likaisia. Siivousrättien ja pyyhkeiden peseminen yöpyjien välillä olisi ollut helppoa, koska mökissä on pesukone. Mökkiin oli tuotu puhtaita pyyhkeitä ja laudeliina, joten mökin kunnon olisi voinut huomata jo sillä käynnillä. Lopulta siivosimme mökin itse uudelleen, mutta wc jäi haisemaan, koska siivousvälineitä sen puhdistamiseen ei ollut, emmekä toisaalta kokeneet, että se kuuluisi saapuvien asukkaiden tehtäväksi. WC:ssä oli myös pitkänukkainen matto, joka varmasti oli osasyy hajuun. Mökistä puuttui tavaroita, mm. käsisaippuaa, tulitikut (mökissä puukiuas), kahvimitta ja palovaroitin oli poissa katosta hyllyn päällä, jolloin sen toiminta estyy/viivästyy. Äänieristystä ala- ja yläkerran välillä ei ollut, vaan kaikki kuului molempiin suuntiin.

Reviewed By TopmaaVery good resort located some 6 km from the skiing slopes and next to cross country skiing possibilities, quiet facilities the house was nicely decorated and carage and housekeeping facilities were spacy like wise the yard was large.
