Reviewed By J0rmaMNice in city center. Previous orthodox center, it seems inside in dining room. We had room 222 and it was pretty cold all nigth long, too heavy air condition without possibilitues to change it. Food was excellent tasty and personal was really helpfull.

Reviewed By TeemuM120Don't ever go this place. Personnel was inappropriate and they even don't try to be flexible. Breakfast wasn't enough for the sports club. So it's better pay little bit more and go hotels where personnel want to be custome services.

Reviewed By philoxenaWe booked Niemilomat as a one-night stopover on a journey from Kuhmo to Helsinki; I.think that if we do another Finnish holiday I’d make it our base. We stayed in the main house—an attractive old building with a lot of nooks and terraces to relax on—but there are some lovely cottages as well. The establishment is right on a lake, and one can do the classic jump from the sauna into the water. There are also boats, and a major canoeing route starts at the pier. Wild strawberries and bilberries can be picked in the local woodland, and the location is ideal for exploring the Lakeland.

Relaxing long weekend in Jokiniemi

Also the ski routes near the cabin were perfect for a "Sunday " skier". Full recommendation to hot tub and slide snow shoes too! Hope to come back in the summer time!

Reviewed By Relax31501368848I was in transit journey in Iisalmi and staying Sokos Hotel Koljonvirta. As a member of Sokos Hotel Group it was safe pick for me. I arrived to Hotel by car and Hotel had parking area in back Yard and it was free. From parking area you can enter directly to Hotel reception. Check-in was fast and service was friendly. My room was spacious and view was to ”main road” of Iisalmi. However I didn’t hear any noise from traffic. Hotel doesn’t have pool but nice sauna area in top floor. Hotel has separate sauna areas for men and women. Breakfast was basic. Nothing special but included basic scandinavian breakfast ingredients. Overall my stay was very good and I can recommend Hotel to all visitors in Iisalmi.

Reviewed By HL65When you arrive, Sawohouse may not look like a traditional hotel. The buildings are surrounding a nice courtyard and there is also a large summer terrace. Staff is really friendly and takes time to pay attention to their guests. The room was quite simple but very clean and peaceful. It also had an own entrance. The breakfast was tasty and generous. Location is good, especially if you are on the move by car (free safe parking), but also a bus stop can be found just around the corner. A really nice hotel experience at a reasonable price!

We organize a variety of program, outdoor activities and nature trips. Pets are not allowed in mansion rooms, but are welcome to stay in cottages.

Reviewed By TarjasblogWir haben in einer Villa direkt am See übernachtet. Im Haus befinden sich mehrere Schlafzimmer und eine Sauna, dazu eine großzügige Terasse. Nebenan kann man zusätzlich eine sehr besondere Rauch Sauna mieten. Essen kann man sich ins Haus bringen lassen oder im Haupthaus essen gehen. Toller Service, freundliche Menschen, ein Platz voller Ruhe, Stille und Frieden.

Reviewed By Marko SHotelli Ravintola Tiilikka sijaitsee aivan Rautavaaran keskustassa. No, ei täällä mitään keskustaa oikein ole, mutta kuitenkin! Hotellissa on asuntotyyppisiä huoneita, ja ainakin yhdessä on lisäksi sauna. Parkkitilat ovat riittävät. Huone oli nuhjuinen ja kulunut, mutta täytti tehtävänsä. Oma terassi ja näkymä lammelle oli hieno! Aamiainen oli tuotu jo valmiiksi huoneeseen, ja hyvä puoli tässä oli se, että sai syödä aamupalan juurisilloin kuin itse halusi. Huoneessa oli myös mikro.

Reviewed By Jarno INice hotel which building history has been explaned in rooms. Hotel guest can access to very good gym next to hotel! Breakfast is comparable to big hotel chains. There is sauna which can be booked for personal use (30min).
