Reviewed By shanhelaWe stayed for one night in Lokkilinna in early August 2021. A strong early 90s shines through everywhere, and the entire hotel would be in need of a comprehensive modernization renovation so that it could compete with even a little newer accommodation in the same area. Our apartment was really poorly cleaned, e.g. there was a large spider web in the bathroom doorway. In the shower, the shower head was at the end of its service life and leaked violently from the seals. If you want to stay in Kalajoki, I recommend choosing higher quality accommodation.

Reviewed By AnnaI1980Nice apartment with a beautiful view, but there isnt any air conditioning, so you have a hot apartment with balcony doors wide open. Breakfast starts at 8am, its too late and it causes traffic. Same goes for Spa times, opens at 10am and its jammed immediately and its too crowded. I wish they would think about the timetables all over , breakfast starting from 7am and Spa from 8am. There are mostly families with kids during summertime and it would be wise to re-think the times. There are no lunch service in the hotel, only some waffles during lunchtime. Bistro opens at 2pm, lunchtime is already over for kids by then. So basically the hotel is forcing you to take your money elsewhere to buy lunch. Staff is awesome, very friendly, but the management should really think about these things.

Reviewed By Paul LI’ve travelled around and seen some pretty horrible places to stay in. To my surprise the worst experience ever was in Finland at this place. We rented a cottage which was semi-ok, but still quite crude. The worst part was the bathroom and showers. Words can not describe how dirty they were. Not to mention that many of them were out of use. The showerroom had big windows which were positioned such that you could see a tall persons upper body when showering. And the smell in the shower was disgusting. Stay out of this place, it’s not worth your money however cheap it is.

Ok place for one night

Likainen ja vanha kohde
Reviewed By Roving08019075228Koira haisi kun tulimme kohteeseen. Veimme matot ulos jolloin lattialta löytyi leikattuja varpaankynsiä. Seinissä ja ilmastointiventtiileissä pölyä, ovet ja kalusteet surkean näköiset ja koko huoneisto tarvitsee päivitystä. Pesukoneen alaosassa ruostetta, suihkuletku myös katkeamassa ja ruosteessa. Verhot rispaantuneet. Muutoin huoneistossa on kaikki tarvittava ja sijaiinti on hyvä. Sandys Kelt paikassa loistava ruoka ja tarjoilu.Avain haettiin Sandys Keltistä ja palautettiin laatikkoon. Ei fyysisiä kontakteja henkilökuntaan.

Retkeilijän majapaikka
Reviewed By 45petrikHuoneisto oli tilava, sinne sai tuotua kaksi sähköpyörää sisälle ladattavaksi, yön ajaksi. Huoneisto oli hyväkuntoinen ja siisti. Jääkaappiin sai retkieväät viileään. Lähistöllä oli useita ravintoloita ja rantaan on lyhyt matka. Voisin tulla tänne uudestaankin. Omaan makuuni patjat olivat hieman liian pehmeät, mutta tämä ongelma on minulla monessa paikassa.

Irish influence in decor can be seen in colors and accessories. Apartments are either 94m2 or 77m2 and they accommodate max 6 persons. All apartments have their own sauna and separate dining area.

Kehno ja ylihintainen majoitus
Reviewed By d328jKalajoelle luvattiin aurinkoista säätä ja päätimme ajaa paluumatkalla kotiin tämän kohteen kautta ja vietimme samalla yhden yön Kalajoen hiekoilla. Majoituksen avaimet haettiin hotelli Rantakallasta. Palvelu siellä oli nopeaa ja ystävällistä. Maksoimme tästä yhden yön majoituksesta 90€. Majoituksen hintaan ei kuulunut aamiaista, josta olisi pitänyt maksaa 8€ henkilö. Kalajoen hiekkojen rivitalohuoneistot sijaitsivat hotellia vastapäätä olevalla mäntykankaalla. Huoneistot ovat vanhoja rivitalohuoneistoja alkuperäisessä kunnossa. Saapuessamme huoneistoomme tulvahti huoneistosta erittäin voimakas kosteuden ja homeen haju. Tämä oli hyvin ikävää astmaatikolle. Pidimme paljon huoneiston ovea auki, jotta kamala tunkkainen haju lähtisi pois. Havaitsimme, että myös muut asukkaat tuulettivat huoneistoaan. Huoneessa oli likaista ja kulunutta. Jääkaapin tiivisteet olivat rikki, joten jääkaappia ei saanut riittävän viileäksi. Lavuaarissa oli halkeama, lattiat olivat hyvin pinttyneet, kaakelit homeiset, matot pölyiset ja lattialla eläinten karvoja. Huoneessa oleva kahvinkeitintä ei oltu puhdistettu kalkista aikoihin. Samoin huoneiston saippuapullot olivat tyhjät. Huoneistossa oli valmiiksi pedatut sängyt, jotka vaikuttivat puhtailta. Sängyt olivat kuitenkin pehmeät ja kuluneet. Aamulla suihkun paine oli heikko ja saimme suihkusta tulemaan vain viileää vettä. Aamulla herätessämme huomasimme myös, että asunnon ikkunoihin oli kertynyt yön aikana kosteutta ja tunnelma oli ”trooppinen”. Mielestäni 90€ hinta tästä huoneesta on aivan liikaa. Olemme yöpyneet vastaavissa kohteissa myös muualla Suomessa mutta tämä ei vastannut hinta-laatusuhdetta. Emme odottaneen mitään erityisen laadukasta vaan vanhahtavaa ja siistiä huoneistoa. Myös vanha huoneisto voi olla siisti ja terve sisäilmaltaan. Tämä ei sitä ollut. Olisi reilua ilmoittaa asiakkaille, että huoneistoissa on mahdollisesti kosteusongelmia, sillä tälläisissä kohteissa yöpyminen voi olla uhka jonkun terveydelle. Tätä majoitusta ei voi suositella kenellekään näillä hinnoilla.
