Iâm so used to poor service the speed and efficiency of the team last night was a little overwhelming. Thats not a criticism, I should have asked them to hold off between courses because the night was going too fast and I didnât want it to end. Havenât had to do that in decades. Nice music, calm, warm and intimate atmosphere. Food was outstanding. Meat melts in the mouth, flavours expansive and complex, great range of textures it was an experience not often found especially in Mackay. Prices were reasonable, $135 for three course for two of us.If I were to nit pick, the sticky date pudding was a little disappointing because it was a tad dry and felt like it was microwaved from the freezer. The sauce was perfect though and the vanilla bean sorbet top notch. But letâs face it, it very likely was and canât expect them to mix up a batch upon order and bake on the spot. The poached pear - top notch with just the right amount of ginger. Creamy sauce, crumbles and the pear in the middle made for the full suit of textures. An evening here was wonderful. The food was awesome and the atmosphere lovely with a performer singing completing the picture. I ordered the Reef Fish and was pleasantly surprised by the size and taste of the meal. 10 out of 10. Price was very good too. Definitely give this place a go for dinner. Thank you for the wonderful food and fine service.

We sat outside in a covered area to Cafe which suited us with more space for elderly gentleman with a walker otherwise an inside table would be congested and there would have been several steps to negotiate with the walker and toilet upstairs so outside was fine. Delicious steaks and service from staff was very hospitable.

Called in on the Monday Night of the long weekend. The bistro area is quite large and kid friendly by the looks of it. The menu was enough to satisfy most tastes. The food was well presented and the staff obliging. There is also a cafe area as well as the bars, pokies etc.Would definitely go back on our next trip to Mackay
