We ordered take away due to a great report from my neighbour..we ordered kids calamari and chicken carbonara. I was most impressed with my meal, tasted fresh with plenty of chicken...my daughter had the calamari, and it was a beautiful batter that I swear was made from scratch.. Will definitely eat take out from here again. They also do meals like chicken Kiev, steak etc with chips and salad..

We frequent Debbies just about every other Friday night for dinner and we consistently receive friendly service, exceptional quality seafood and they now have a great outdoor restaurant setting.Well worth trying if you have not been.Thankyou for your wonderful review,we are loving the new undercover eating area too

This is a great fish and chip shop along the Marina in Mackay. We came here for dinner in the evening. The atmosphere and view are beautiful and the food is excellent and service is fast. Plenty of locals which is always a good sign.

While staying in Mackay at the Clarion, I dined in house at Latitude 21 Restaurant. Overlooking north Mackay harbour, it's a great location but unfortunately the service wasn't sparkling and I had mixed feelings about the food! 3 times during the course of my meal I heard apologies for the slow service (and it was slow!) from the very people who were giving the slow service: they seemed more concerned about doing everything methodically instead of responding to customer requirements. This may be because of management procedure requirements but it certainly resulted in slow unresponsive service. The 2 waitresses were quite friendly. I chose NZ crispy skinned salmon with chilli garlic, sauteed kale, toasted broadbeans, passionfruit and ginger compote, crispy rice noodles & herbs. The salmon was up there with the best salmon I've tasted! Beautifully juicy, light and tasty and with passionfruit flavour on the crispy skin: wow! I live without Kale but it was ok. My major concern was the tiny serving size: obviously sized so you eat more than one course.

We were keen for a tasty seafood lunch and were very happy with our choices at the Coral Sea Phoenix Seafood Restaurant. The service was good, the surroundings were pleasant, and our meals were lovely with nice sauces, plenty of seafood, and plenty of fresh vegetables. There were other non-seafood options however what we ordered was just what we felt like - delicious and filling.

We enjoyed a fine surf and turf dinner in the Neptunes Restaurant. The plate was very nicely made-up and the steak, scallops and prawns were excellently prepared and very tasty.

Efficient and helpful service - these fish and chips are fresh, tasty and hot. The batter or crumbing is great. Will look forward to visiting next time, but I think the business is for sale.
