It was a cold Friday evening and we ordered a delivery. I went for a lamb curry with naan but was left feeling terribly disappointed.I've eaten their pizzas on several occasions and while they are not thin crust, they are good enough for a night in when delivered. I've also had their Pakistani food before and it was very good.However this time round, I was bitterly disappointed. While the lamb curry itself was not horrible, it simply wasn't a curry; it was a stew. If I wanted a stew, I'd have ordered one from a European restaurant. The dreaded Swiss taste had killed this place too unfortunately. Let me elaborate; as is the case with the majority of ethnic Asian restaurants in this bland country, authentic foods are watered down, de-spiced and completely changed from their original versions owing to the local palette. The same happened with this so called lamb curry.Furthermore, the naan was nothing like a naan should be. It was a thick flavourless flat bread that had no appeal whatsoever and was definitely not cooked in a tandoor.Delivery also took over an hour.I will unfortunately not be using them anymore. For a CHF25 dish, it's not a cheap delivery especially when you don't get what you want.It's a massive shame as there are no Indian/Paki restaurants in Uster and they were the only choice. I'll just be cooking in bulk from now on and freezing my curries for whenever I have the whim.

The food is excellent, and especially the pizzas. Maria gives a friendly, Italian touch to the whole experience, and for Switzerland the prices are reasonable. We have been here for lunch and dinner, and when the weather is good, the restaurant has a very good outside area.

Via eat.ch bestellt um 17.05, Lieferzeit 17.50 angegeben. Bereits 17.30 stand der Kurier mit den heissen Pizzen vor der Türe. Super schnell und lecker wie immer. Preis-Leistung ist hier Top!

Bello e curato il locale (interno) e d'estate ci si puo accomodare in giardino sotto gli alberi. Le Pizze, le Paste e il Pesce (anche se purtroppo non tutto quello che c'è sulla carta e disponibile!) ben fatte. Purtroppo questa volta il servizio, della ragazza polacca (che tra l'altro parla benissimo l'italiano), e stato veramente all' limite dell' incompetenza e se non fosse stato per l'altra ragazza che ci ha servito e il buon cibo avremmo lasciato di corsa il locale.

A quaint little restaurant all dressed up in Italian colors. Huge variety on the menu. Steak and vegetables my choice for tonight. Unbelievable. Super. Tip top. Fabulous service, food surprisingly delicious. I most definitely recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. Beautiful evening, amazing friends.

I had the chance to stop by and eat a Pizza at Pizzeria Forte. I'm very used to real Italian Pizza and thought it would be hard to find one close to where I live now. I'm extremely happy to say that: the Pizza is as good as in Firenze, the guy behind the counter was super friendly, everything was clean and neat. My Pizza quattro Formaggi was crunchy, tasty and had Parmiggiano stripes on top. Loved it!!!

This is a place that I never wanted to return to. Reason being, when I first moved to Uster 6 years ago, we had a terrible experience. My wife, who is allergic to seafood, ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad and while she was eating it she came across a couple of pieces of Octopus in it! I immediately complained but the waiter treated it as if it wasn't a big deal and simply said that the chef tosses salad ingredients in the same bowl prior to plating and there must have been some left over octopus in the bowl from a previous order! He didn't even bother to apologize and despite returning the salad, we received no deduction on the bill.After 6 years and having eaten at most places in Uster, we decided to give it another go. The place is decently decorated and does have a Italian trattoria feel to it.For starters I had the Zuppa Pavese which is a vegetable broth with a poached egg and a cheesy crouton. It did not taste homemade and was clear to me that the broth was made from a stock cube.For mains my wife had a pizza which was decent, not the best as we're used to wood fired pizzas, but was ok. My mains was spaghetti with mussels and clams. This is a pasta dish that I have had all over the world, Italy included. Here it simply lacked flavour, was a tad over salty and was too watery. I cook this dish at home and do a much better job at it. The chefs should toss the pasta in the seafood sauce for a minute or so to let it absorb the flavours of the broth prior to plating. Obviously not done here.Nevertheless, Molino does belong to a massive chain and I suppose one can't expect outstanding authentic Italian food from a chain, especially not in Switzerland.Service was ok, the waitresses were professional but kept their distance. I miss hospitality when I'm in Switzerland. They fail to realize that dining is not only about the food, it's also the hospitality of the staff.Will I go again? No.

The restaurant is with the new crew much better. It has the possibility to sit outside and enjoy a quiet dinner. The food is a mixture between simple pizza and italian spacialities. Some times your get good plates, some other times not so good. I believe the cook is (too?) ambitious, so that not all recipies are perfect... yet. What takes us ofter to that place is definitely the location and the service, by the family who owns the place. They are really caring for the clients, and giving their best to get good honest food to the table.

This place supports SVP, the nasty right wing party in Switzerland. Not only are they opposed to foreigners in Switzerland, they constantly insult them with their barrage of xenophobic propaganda.This restaurant regularly hosts the SVP on their terrace, allow them to put up stands and all their propaganda in the hope of brainwashing gullible Swiss into voting for them. Which, you will be surprised to know, happens all the time. They are the most supported political party in Switzerland. Just goes to show what Swiss people are really like.Every person has the right to know and this is why I am posting this review. I for one will never come back to this place. The food was average at best and it will certainly not be missed.Shame on you Fabio.
