Switzerland, outside the major centres, can be a challenge. When we found our first choice closed for lunch (despite a contrary indication on the website) we popped into this establishment.Despite only three tables being occupied, service was glacial. The quality of the food was generally extremely good (other than a mysterious soup that called itself minestrone, but seemed to be more of a bowl of tomato sauce.Value for money is, frankly, a foreign concept for most visitors to Switzerland. Unless you are shopping for groceries at Migros and catering for yourself, that is. But within this framework, the prices were consistent with family dining expectations.

So happy we visited La Fonte! The pizzas were outstanding and the service was excellent. Also, they are very reasonably priced, which is a nice change of pace in Zurich!

This Restaurant is rather expensive. Nevertheless, we wanted to try a new Restaurant in the village, so we went there for a try. The menue was inviting and tasted nice. However, it was poorly arranged on the plate, not really inviting. Therefore we decided, it was not at all worth the Price. There are two other, also rather expensive restaurants in the village, but those are definitely worth there price, if we want to have a special evening out, we rather go there, than going again in to the Restaurant Neue Forch. To be fair, we don't drink wine, for which the restaurant is well known for, apparently.

As Americans living in Switzerland we are constantly griping about the quality of beef sold here. This local hang out defies expectations and consistently delivers top quality steaks, stroganoff, paprika beef etc. Prices are mid-range for a Swiss restaurant, but a good value considering the quality of the meet.

Zugegeben, wir wohnen in der Nähe. Jedoch bin ich jedesmal wieder positiv überrascht, wie schnell die Pizza bei uns ankommt. Spätestens 15 Minuten nach der Bestellung ist die Pizza da. Entsprechend ist sie noch heiss, knusprig und gut gebacken. Die Zutaten sind frisch und üppig, preislich sind sie OK. Wenn man die Pizza abholen geht, ist es noch günstiger.

Being for work in the Uster area for a few weeks, I started to look for restaurant which can give quality food and affordable prices.I have been testing some new restaurants and now when I need some food I mainly go back to their place. The place is simple, no over done and very clean. You order your food at the counter and you can have it in the restaurant or to go. I like to have it serve inside of the restaurant. When the weather is nice, the patio on the street may be use to have the food or a beer.I will recommend it to every person who like a lot of vegetable in their food. And being in Uster, I thing it is worth to test it.

The food is excellent, and especially the pizzas. Maria gives a friendly, Italian touch to the whole experience, and for Switzerland the prices are reasonable. We have been here for lunch and dinner, and when the weather is good, the restaurant has a very good outside area.

This is a place that I never wanted to return to. Reason being, when I first moved to Uster 6 years ago, we had a terrible experience. My wife, who is allergic to seafood, ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad and while she was eating it she came across a couple of pieces of Octopus in it! I immediately complained but the waiter treated it as if it wasn't a big deal and simply said that the chef tosses salad ingredients in the same bowl prior to plating and there must have been some left over octopus in the bowl from a previous order! He didn't even bother to apologize and despite returning the salad, we received no deduction on the bill.After 6 years and having eaten at most places in Uster, we decided to give it another go. The place is decently decorated and does have a Italian trattoria feel to it.For starters I had the Zuppa Pavese which is a vegetable broth with a poached egg and a cheesy crouton. It did not taste homemade and was clear to me that the broth was made from a stock cube.For mains my wife had a pizza which was decent, not the best as we're used to wood fired pizzas, but was ok. My mains was spaghetti with mussels and clams. This is a pasta dish that I have had all over the world, Italy included. Here it simply lacked flavour, was a tad over salty and was too watery. I cook this dish at home and do a much better job at it. The chefs should toss the pasta in the seafood sauce for a minute or so to let it absorb the flavours of the broth prior to plating. Obviously not done here.Nevertheless, Molino does belong to a massive chain and I suppose one can't expect outstanding authentic Italian food from a chain, especially not in Switzerland.Service was ok, the waitresses were professional but kept their distance. I miss hospitality when I'm in Switzerland. They fail to realize that dining is not only about the food, it's also the hospitality of the staff.Will I go again? No.

This very popular restaurant serves authentic Greek specialties of the highest quality. Make a reservation if you'd like to visit for dinner, as it is often very well booked. The atmosphere is casual and can be a bit loud and jolly, so be prepared for true Mediterranean atmosphere that comes with the food. Let the restaurant manager suggest a fine wine that goes best with the food - you won't be disappointed. If you love Greek food or would like to taste it for the first time, this is a great place to go!

This place supports SVP, the nasty right wing party in Switzerland. Not only are they opposed to foreigners in Switzerland, they constantly insult them with their barrage of xenophobic propaganda.This restaurant regularly hosts the SVP on their terrace, allow them to put up stands and all their propaganda in the hope of brainwashing gullible Swiss into voting for them. Which, you will be surprised to know, happens all the time. They are the most supported political party in Switzerland. Just goes to show what Swiss people are really like.Every person has the right to know and this is why I am posting this review. I for one will never come back to this place. The food was average at best and it will certainly not be missed.Shame on you Fabio.
