It is an important fishing port and tourist centre, and has a festival dedicated to its famous anchovies. The GE-513 road runs inland from the town.

Fuimos un fin de semana con los amigos y pedimos un entrante con tomate y burrata, buenÃssimo!! Luego las pizzas eran excelentes y un muy buen trato del personal y rapidez del servicio. También es muy bueno el acceptar las mascotas en la terraza y darle agua, en nuestro caso el perro lo agradeció!

We rushed into this restaurant as it started raining. It was very brightly lit which was a little offputting. We were seated in the outside but under cover part of the restaurant which seemed nice with comfy cushioned chairs. We ordered and waited. After quite a while, as we were waiting for our food, a waitress came to tell us that my choice of main was unavailable and would I like to choose again. The main courses were fine, desserts better but service inattentive. So hard to get the waiter and waitresses attention. We left underwhelmed.

Visited with my young family, ordered a pizza with some bravas and calamari. Pizza was massive and was more than enough for both of my children. Calimari were freshly prepared and cooked, really tender and the bravas were served with a nice smoky sauce with a lingering burn. Overall a nice experience.

Excellent Pizza, delicious and plenty of toppings. Good value for money. The service was excellent too, such a pleasure to see happy, smiling, friendly staff who speak very good English and are eager to help. Superb location, overlooking the beach and great for people watching!All in all I would highly recommend this new venture and we will be eating here on a regular basis.Great varied menu too!

Delicious Italian food! We ate here twice during our two week stay and we will be back next time! The pizza's are cooked fresh at the back of the restaurant where you can watch them being cooked. The pasta dishes were also delicious! I would recommend this and put it in my top 3 restaurants in L'Escala.

This great Italian restaurant has a sign for paella to take away. We asked how it works and were told that you have to order at least a day before as they are only made to order. This sounded great so we ordered one to have at the restaurant for only an extra 2 euros per person. When it came it was the best paella we've had in Spain! It was also huge - 2 full platefuls each, so no starter needed!Well worth planning ahead for!

Really nice olives to nibble whilst choosing food. The El Torro wine was quite good and reasonably priced.I decided to go for the tagliatella as I assumed it would be there speciality but I was very disappointed as it was over cooked and did not taste like fresh pasta and I left most of the large portion of soggy mess.My son had a pizza and said it was one of the best he had ever had and he has sampled very many.The service was okay and it is in a nice location.

We ate a lighter lunch outside here on a very lovely sunny day. We were impressed by the presentation and the flavours. Two of our party had Caesar salads which looked and tasted spectacular. Another had anchovies on toast with peppers and cooked onions and another had their pizza. We were all very pleased.

We had lunch in the shaded garden. We ordered about 8 or so tapas. All were delicious, anchovies, small fish, potatoes, croquettas, cheese etc.All were cooked beautifully, the owner checked that we were happy - he was confident about the quality of the food.The staff were excellent. It was a lovely cafe.
