A perfect place to enjoy your holidays with family or friends, staying on one of our pitches, surrounded by trees or in a comfortable mobile home. Located in a quiet spot, this is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the many activities, a privileged and unique area such as the Bay of Roses and its landscape, culture, gastronomy and recreational range.
Friendly Family Campsite
Reviewed By Micky BGreat find. The campsite itself is tight and in a 7m campervan I had to take it slowly to my pitch. Great facilaties, friendly staff. Bar and restaurant area great and the kids loved the pool. Having been in France for two weeks and stopping here we noticed how much cheaper the food and drink was. We only stayed one night but would recommend.

Campsite ****, at 200 m from the beach and 500 m from city center. Modern and luxurious services. Swimming pool 1000 m2, restaurant, lounge bar, supermarket, children playground, sports court... Bungalows well equipped, camping plots with water connection.
Attractive campsite but will not return
Reviewed By 90felicitycWe stayed this weekend for two nights in two adjacent bungalows with our daughter, Spanish son in law and two grandchildren plus dogs. An attractive location but certainly not 500m from centre of Empuriabrava and restaurants - the receptionist warned us it was a 20 minute walk and about 1.4kms and gave us a map and explained the route For our family it was a long walk along a very busy road, most of which had no pavement. It was worth the walk but we had made a provisional reservation for a week next July and we wanted to ear out most days - too far! So that evening we ate at the campsite restaurant. Very disappointing . The worse croque monsieur ( ham and cheese toastie) ever , pre cooked frozen food reheated. Like a fast food outlet . We are used to Spanish campsites with a “ menu” and local cuisine or at least fresh fish, meat and vegetables. We were told the check ces were usually the same on the summer. However the beach was lovely, the pool beautiful ( though carry your own chairs ) , and there were some lovely camping pitches . The dogs were happy and the children liked the sports area. So we went to the reception to see if one of the pitches we liked was available for our selected dates. But we were told you cannot select a pitch in advance ( just a category size wise) , not even fur a premium price, and it is first come, first served . It was recommend we arrived at 7h00 on the arrival date and would then be told which pitches would be free later that day and then we had to hang around the campsite until the previous campers departed but that there could be arguments lasting hours between campers! Unbelievable. Maybe our receptionist had had a bad day but campers we spoke to said the same! Let’s hope the booking system is improved in the future!

Funny activities with a nice staff and the restaurant has several interesting and tasty options of food, mojitos (normal and alcohol-free), coffee... Both us, the adults, and the kids enjoyed a lot. All the services are there (supermarket and top croissants in the bakery). We stayed in one glamping and it has been so cozy. Nice days, good vibes... thanks!

Reviewed By 721katyaJe déconseille, très mal reçu, personnel arguant, limite agressive. Aucun respect des règles d'hygiène même au restaurant. La personne a l'accueil hautain, elle vous fait comprendre que vous la dérangez à n'importe quel moment sans parler du responsable qui prend les clients de haut. Très bruyant camping au bord de national, piscine hors service pourtant, il annonce ouvert ! Sur place, vous avez la surprise.

Fantastic stay!
Reviewed By R9246HXkatienExceeded expectations. Fabulous site and surrounding area. Accommodation new and faultless. We were still out of season so likely the site will be busy as summer season hits, but would definitely return again! Pool area perfect for the kids and for lap swimming. Can’t wait to come back next year!

The facilities are fantastic with everything you need, and the toilets and showers are spotlessly clean The staff are amazing, always smiling and happy to help I would highly recommend here to anyone

Surrounded by an interesting medieval environment (Pals, Peratallada, Begur) with a huge cultural, educational and gastronomic offer. With the best location, near from Pals or Begur beach (4km) or Palafrugell (6 km)Familiar campsite with different facilities that can provide us funny moments during our holidays. With Bungalows (4-6 persons), Mobil-homes (4-6 persons) or pitches for tents or caravans. We accept dogs in our plots but not in our accommodations. We have animation team during July and August, tennis court, volleyball, basket, petanque, football or ping-pong. You can visit our restaurant with daily menu, bar, take-away service, supermarket and a game room. You can use our Wi-Fi (payment service) during your holidays.
The worst accommodation
Reviewed By EE1Stayed for 1 night only. Paid €130 for a terrible mobile home, barely big enough for 2 people, extremely old and run down. Had a strange damp smell, neighbours could see straight into the shower room with no blinds or anything else for privacy. Its quite an ugly site where all mobile homes are very close together. No air conditioning (cannot believe the price for such poor accommodation was justified). Having stayed in many similar campsites in Spain and France we will never stay here again or recommend this site to anyone. Be warned!

Having experienced even larger campsites and those very small ones, we have the feeling that Playa Brava has the best size. They offer many programs for the kids. The restaurant on the site is all right. The swimming pool is also a nice alternative to the beach.

Best little camping ever
Reviewed By eyeball sThis little camping is super beautiful. Small and cosy, surrounded by nature. The staff was very helpful and kind. I totally recommended. Preferred it much more than the other bigger, less intimate campings in the area that are usually full of nosy people.

The Camping is open all year. Located in the village of Esponellà ( Pla de l' Estany ) beside the river Fluvia where excellent fishing and kayaking are available. We are a family friendly site, ensuring the essence of a small and charming campsite. For the nature lovers, the Lake of Banyoles is nearly and you will be captivated by the magic of its legends and its 8km journey to make on foot or by bicycle. We are only 20km from the DalíMuseum in Figueras and 15 km from the Medieval village Besalu . Strategically located at 25km from the Jewish Quarter of Girona and 30 km from the volcanoes of the Garrotxa . We are just 40 minutes from Girona-Costa BravaAirport . Surrounded by pine and oak trees with a bird sanctuary , just 10 km Gulf Navata , Torremirona . In an area of outstanding beauty surrounded by mountains, forrest, rivers and lake.
Nice spacious campsite
Reviewed By Wander42069666Spacious lots for campers. Lots of static caravans as well. Clean bathrooms and showers, has a heated year round pool and a pizza place. Walk away from a small cute town with nothing to do but lots of cool places within a short driving distance. The road through town is somewhat steep so it might be hard to access with a bigger caravan but overall it's pretty easy to get to.
