Aivan peevelin hyvä lounas, erityisesti ensimmäisen päivän paistetut muikut... niitä olis voinu syödä vaikka kuinka paljon :) Toisen päivän mureke maultaan erittäin hyvä mutta jos jotain pitää moittia niin murekkeen rakennetta voisi miettiä. Hieman turhan tiivis. Pienen pieni vika muuten niin maittavassa lounaassa. Runsaat salaatit, sämpylöitä, kahvit ja hyvät jälkkärit. Suosittelen!

Scandic Kajanus next to beautiful lake is Kajaani's best hotel(I would say 3,5 stars) and this is their Restaurant, that also is their breakfast room. We had dinner with my colleague and both left satisfied. My Reindeer Salad(13⬠starter, 19⬠main) with baked cheese was tasty and fresh and service was friendly. Not the most inspiring interior, but good choice if you are staying in the hotel

Great place, as all Rossos. Menus in Russian and English available. Salad bar included and quite a nice one- with tuna and melon, greens, etc. all is good

Sulo restaurant is located at Hotel Valjus at the centre of Kajaani town in Northern Finland. Menu covers mainly salads and Grill foods. Foods are tasty and price-quality ratio is pretty good. We ordered melon salad as a starter and pork as main course and all foods were well done and tasty. House wise (S chain wine...) was under 20 ⬠per bottle which is ok in a Finnish restaurant.

We were in Finland for 10 days and this was by far the best meal we had. Excellent choice of menu where you could have a fixed price three course meal or you could choose individually off the menu. I choose the bruschetta with chanterelle mushrooms for starter and the Elk with vegetables for main course. For desert I had the panna cotta. All delicious - expensive but good. My bill was around £55 for one person but I don't mind paying when the quality is excellent and this was first rate.Highly recommended.
