So we had lunch here during a business trip to the area. This was supposed to be great BBQ. Well, if its good MO BBQ...switch foods. The brisket was disappointing and dry. The turkey was decent but the beans and wings nothing special. People brought their dogs into this place and that was a huge turnoff!!!!!

Very low-key place to go and enjoy some time with friends. Fat Pollys has a relaxed atmosphere that is attached to a pool and outside eating on the other side. They do have live music certain nights of the week. Our waiter Justin took good care of us. We had a chicken sandwich and fries that were very good. There is plenty of parking and easy access. Give it try.

The pizza is all made from scratch by hand. Rick will hand toss your pizza dough right behind the counter. All the ingredients are fresh or local homemade like the sausage. These pizzas are superloaded with ingredients and cooked to perfection. In the brick pizza oven. Try the JordanMeister or Cheryl Doormman, my favorites. And many craft beers and the Calzones are always great too.

Live music on the terrace when we were here. Inside and outside seating. Great boat mooring while eating. This place is set up to be a regular crazy lake/pool party environment.Food is good. Not great but good. Everyone said to get the blackened grouper sandwich. Could have actually been tilapia for all we know. The grouper I've caught and eaten in Florida was a little different, but it was tasty. My suggestion on a side is to get the fried potatoes salad. I didn't and I wished I had! Super tasty!! The wings are good, again, the sauces are good not great, but such a good value on their special night!No tap beer here, cans and bottles but has a decent liquor selection.Service was prompt and nice but the staff is a bunch of young kids for the most part.

I love this place. I have to eat here at least once every time I come to the lake. My husband tried the prime rib & said it was fantastic & priced reasonably. I had the smoked meatloaf, which is one of my favorites.

Apparently new personnel!Donna made the visit and food top of the line.The Spangle Blt excellent, the Casa Phillie, very good!Pizza was excellent.Donna went to lower level to check on dark beer and subsequently retrieve retrieve, Iron Skillet beer!Donna ability and desire to make customers welcome as well as appreciated, will make customer visits welcome!!!Only her third day, she will keep customers coming in!!!

We were here three different times throughout Bikefest weekend. We watched two different bands, as well as having supper in the dining room. Our food in the dining room was good. The drinks outside while watching the band could have been stronger (or cheaper), but I guess you are paying extra for being right on the water and for the bands they bring in. We will be back, it's a great atmosphere.

We absolutely love trying different pizza restaurants when we travel. Checked in to our condo and left immediately for Pappoâs .Itâs Monday evening 6:30 pm. There were families with young children, couples and groups. A packed house. Found two seats at the bar. Ordered a chicken Caesar pizza on thin crust. Weâll check this off as the best pizza yet. The service was great. The restaurant is very clean. The quality was exceptional and the price reasonable.Betty4697, Thank you so much for this review! Spouse and I celebrated our 57th anniversary here last week. Staff was wonderfully accomodating since we were a few minutes early for dinner. Terrific view of the lake from several tables. Service was above reproach, staff was very attentive, catering to our every wish. My salmon was outstanding, spouse thought her marsala was a little dark but still very good - excellent wine. We were too full for desert. Love Ruthie D's, we'll be back.

stopped by on a tuesday afternoon around3:00--not real busy-i had the po boy which is very good-wife had the burger sliders in which she liked-victoria did a good job--the onion rings were greasy-but we will be back-we like watching the st. louis cards on tv!!!!
