Great BBQ chain always great food, Clean establishment with a western theme and friendly staff. Best dry ribs around, the brisket is my favorite, and consistently good. I visit every month or two.

Apparently new personnel!Donna made the visit and food top of the line.The Spangle Blt excellent, the Casa Phillie, very good!Pizza was excellent.Donna went to lower level to check on dark beer and subsequently retrieve retrieve, Iron Skillet beer!Donna ability and desire to make customers welcome as well as appreciated, will make customer visits welcome!!!Only her third day, she will keep customers coming in!!!

We were here three different times throughout Bikefest weekend. We watched two different bands, as well as having supper in the dining room. Our food in the dining room was good. The drinks outside while watching the band could have been stronger (or cheaper), but I guess you are paying extra for being right on the water and for the bands they bring in. We will be back, it's a great atmosphere.

Ok, weekend get away. Once in the lake area we were hungry and thought we would try the ... uhh huh,, #1 bbq place here.Well, my wife did like her brisket. Said it was really good. Here Cole slaw was, ok.My marinated grilled chicken breast sandwich was so amazingly dry, hard to chew, could eat less than half of it. The baked potato was a baked potato. The baked beans were pretty sickly. My wife tried them too and she did not care for them either. Unfortunately , the best part of my meal was the bun.Oh well.. live and learn. If this is number 1, what is the incentive to try any other bbq place here? By the way look at the pictures of the 2 containers of "butter" they gave me for my potato. X OFF THE BUCKET LIST Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. Did your server offer you a different sandwich and side? I am sorry that your margarine separated. We set it out for room temperature so that when customers put it on their potato it melts. Sounds like we need to explore other options.

Spouse and I celebrated our 57th anniversary here last week. Staff was wonderfully accomodating since we were a few minutes early for dinner. Terrific view of the lake from several tables. Service was above reproach, staff was very attentive, catering to our every wish. My salmon was outstanding, spouse thought her marsala was a little dark but still very good - excellent wine. We were too full for desert. Love Ruthie D's, we'll be back.

Small yet intimate romantic setting with lovely dark wood, candelight and stained glass interior. Also a beautiful patio with waterfall and beautiful sunset. Excellent attentive service. A number of interesting specials. Large salad with entries and good choices for sides. The prime rib is bone in which was not what we prefer but nicely done. Steak special with cheese was huge and tasty and perfectly cooked to medium. Tasty little rolls. Wines could be in better glassware with larger pours. Highly recommend for a fine dining meal.

This restaurant is amazing, the food was really tasty!!! I had a Filet Mignon and it was so tender and good!!! We had a view of the lake and that just made it feel relaxing!!!! The staff are very friendly and professional!! We had reservations and walked right in and seated right away!!! We got married at the lake a few days before and was told we had to try Baxterâs while we were honeymooning!!! Baxterâs is on our list to eat on our trip back next year!!!

stopped by on a tuesday afternoon around3:00--not real busy-i had the po boy which is very good-wife had the burger sliders in which she liked-victoria did a good job--the onion rings were greasy-but we will be back-we like watching the st. louis cards on tv!!!!

We are huge steak fans so our expectations are very high. Great food. Great music. Great service. Outdoor seating with romantic music. The owner visits every table. You wonât be disappointed. We have never had a bad experience here. If you want romantic and exquisite, you should try this place. Oh, and by the way, homemade dressings for salad. Fresh bread. Wine is not overpriced. Quaint setting. On the water. Donât fall for commercialized restaurants.Love this place!
