We met here with a group of 16 friends for dinner and the management did a great job giving us tables that were perfect. Our waitress did a great job keeping all the orders straight and we received our food in a timely manner. Everyone was very happy with what they had ordered. It was a first time visit for all our friends and they were all very impressed. I had the BLT which was very good. A great place to dine!

There are times when you just want to relax and sit in the open air to watch the water. Whether in shorts, swimwear, or a sundress, casual cuisine and great drinks make this the perfect summer outdoor dining experience. We had HUGE PEEL-n-eatem shrimp (about 3 inches long) for an appetizer then followed with fish tacos and a blackened chicken sandwich. You order at the bar or kitchen window and self-seat from among a variety of patio and picnic tables. A live band was playing an eclectic mix of Waylon, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Thomas Rhett while boating patrons docked and forged the stairwell for beer and seafood. If you love casual, summer, outside dive bar dining, this place is perfect.

Our group of 10 stopped here for drinks and lunch while in Osage Beach. Despite multiple servers walking by our table and even the table next to us, not one server acknowledged us. Finally after about 15 minutes, we grabbed someone and asked if we could be served. We ordered food and drinks. After awhile, we figured out that we could get our drinks a lot quicker if we just went to the bar inside and ordered them ourselves. The drinks were tasty. I just ordered boneless wings and fries, husband had crab Rangoon appetizer. All were just ok. They forgot one couple's appetizer, then told them that they ran out of the product, then 10 minutes later it magically appeared. It was a Saturday biting Bikefest, and the place was packed. The servers were friendly, it just seemed a little disorganized. I would go back, even if just for drinks. Food wasn't bad, it just wasn't great either.

We are huge steak fans so our expectations are very high. Great food. Great music. Great service. Outdoor seating with romantic music. The owner visits every table. You wonât be disappointed. We have never had a bad experience here. If you want romantic and exquisite, you should try this place. Oh, and by the way, homemade dressings for salad. Fresh bread. Wine is not overpriced. Quaint setting. On the water. Donât fall for commercialized restaurants.Love this place!

Spouse and I celebrated our 57th anniversary here last week. Staff was wonderfully accomodating since we were a few minutes early for dinner. Terrific view of the lake from several tables. Service was above reproach, staff was very attentive, catering to our every wish. My salmon was outstanding, spouse thought her marsala was a little dark but still very good - excellent wine. We were too full for desert. Love Ruthie D's, we'll be back.

Small yet intimate romantic setting with lovely dark wood, candelight and stained glass interior. Also a beautiful patio with waterfall and beautiful sunset. Excellent attentive service. A number of interesting specials. Large salad with entries and good choices for sides. The prime rib is bone in which was not what we prefer but nicely done. Steak special with cheese was huge and tasty and perfectly cooked to medium. Tasty little rolls. Wines could be in better glassware with larger pours. Highly recommend for a fine dining meal.

stopped by on a tuesday afternoon around3:00--not real busy-i had the po boy which is very good-wife had the burger sliders in which she liked-victoria did a good job--the onion rings were greasy-but we will be back-we like watching the st. louis cards on tv!!!!

Our friends wanted to celebrate my wifes Birthday and they chose JB Hooks. It was a perfect evening with fantastic views of the Lake and we were seated In the new addition. The Rye Old Fashions were amazing and the Moscato was perfect. The Salmon Bisque was delicious along with the Ceasar salad. The lump crab filets were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The lobster pasta and black and blue pasta was fantastic. The atmosphere is amazing. Our waiter Jake was so helpful, friendly and a great waiter. We really enjoyed our evening.
