I was with the previous reviewer, and like him, was a little concerned about hygiene - lots of flies, and the maggot/larvae in the caps of the (unopened) mustard bottles. However, at the end of a 3 hour walk we needed food and on this particular day there was little alternative. We had been here in previous incarnations and in terms of decor and friendliness it is a big improvement. The food, (3 Full English B'Fasts 1 Veg B'fast and 3 aubergine and spinach curries and a French toast) was good and hot - when it arrived, but it was all cooked to order by the English lady in charge, and by definition it was slow food. The prices were high for the area - more like tourist prices in Lagos, but that is what you have to pay to find a place that will still accommodate 8 for lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon. The menu is ambitious, and I would go back again to try something different, but I do hope they sort the fly problem out. The decor, with modern art on the walls is excellent and it is comfortable with a small terrace outside. We were told not to park immediately outside, as one normally would in a village environment, because apparently the GNR had tackled them about it. We moved our cars to a park about 100 m away, and then our spaces were promptly taken by two locals with a 4x4 and a trailer. They were not asked to move by the waitress!!

We tried a few cafés in Burgau before returning here for many lunches and snacks.The food, service and prices are very good; very dependable overall. Great views and a nice welcome every time.Cross over the street to their ice cream shop afterwards for your dessert!

We stopped at Goji cafe on our last morning in Lagos before heading home. We had the power toast, scrabbled eggs with bacon and 2 smoothies. All were superb. Made with quality ingredients and great to have excellent quality wholemeal toast. We come to Lagos every year for a family holiday and will definitely pay Goji another visit next year.

Have reopened following vacation and will remai open for rest of winter. Nothing fancy - just great comfort food cooked to order. American style pancakes - plain, chocolate chip or blueberry. Full breakfast from 3 to 5 Euros. Milkshake or bloody mary. Eat

We have been visiting cafe odeon since 2015 and canât praise it enough. Excellent food and drinks with very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money and we visited regularly during our holiday. If the cafe is busy and you canât wait, the pancakes and burgers to take away are incredible!!

This is a hidden gem !! But make sure you find it. We had breakfast here a few times and it is excellent. Very modern clean premises and the staff are friendly and very helpful.I recommend the big english breakfast and the sausage bacon and egg breakfast cob.... ... For lunch the wraps are superb also. Fresh orange juice and coffee / tea readily available.. All excellent value for money.....
