This place enjoys a perfect location, across from banks and insurances, with access to hundreds of customers. However, the food is, once again, too expensive and portions too small. My soup was half full, I had to push twice to get the bowl filled. Sorry, guys.. but if you want us bankers back in there.. please deliver good quality and adequate portions. âLe muhâ is the restaurant in the Swissotel, Schulstrasse 44, 8050 Zurich. The restaurant and bar managers and staff offer outstanding service and the food is consistently good. The breakfast buffet offers a number of choices, lunch and dinner are equally varied.As a vegetarian I never went hungry! Can highly recommend Le muh ... it can be very busy so best to go early!

Chalet Waldgarten has a magnificant view during the day over partof Zurich. At night there is no view but the restaurant itself is a nicelylit complex of two or more dining rooms, a small one and a big one is what I saw.We were 3 people. We had 3 soups for starters, very good celery and pumpkin soups. Each of us took a different main course - meat with either Rosti or shpeatzle a desert for each one and two glasses of wine,2 bottles of water and one coffee. I assume the final sum was around SFR.220 . Its definitely a higher scale restaurant but the prices are much the same like in other up-scale restaurants in Zurich. The food was nice but not outstanding. We were very pleasantly impressed about Mesa.A nice and relaxed ambience, great relaxed and personal service from start to end. We really felt at easy and enjoyed the down to earth service.Great menu with the choice of a la carte of fixed menu. Fantastic wine list with all the choices you would need plus very reasonably priced.We will be back!

Clean, modern, reasonably priced hotel in over-priced Switzerland. Hotel is located in Kloten, not Zurich. Trains are efficient and timely. This is an interesting place, a bit off the beaten track for visitors, but worth seeking out and is right next to the station. This restaurant offers more local produce and dishes than the more formulaic tourist places in the city and is better value. The menu is interesting and very good for vegetarians, about 50% of the dishes were meat free. The food was well prepared and came with a good selection of vegetables and was good value (relatively for Zurich)If you are tired of the over priced haunts in the city, with sniffy waiters and unintersting food - try this place - you might like it.

I had dinner on a weeknight when it was quite crowded. Still I was seated promptly at a common table, where I enjoyed the company of other travelers. I ordered the small version of the Zuericher Geschnetzeltes which was plenty enough for me. The meat was cut in not so small pieces and could have been a little more tender, The salad bar looked very tempting but was quite pricey to add to the meal.

Only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was great. One of the better omelettes I have had recently at a hotel breakfast. A little slow on noticing people wanted coffee refills but otherwise the food was very good and a wide selection. Truly an amazing experience!This was just a random find on TripAdvisor. In all the years I've stayed in the area, we've never found this hidden gem.Rias is a small restaurant on a residential street maybe a five minute walk the center of Kloten. Very engaged and efficient staff with impeccable service. Elegantly set table was awaiting us. The menu is very diverse, but each of us went with one of the chef's specials for the evening. One was a collection of venison and the other a selection of four seafood items. Both were exquisite. We all started with the green salad - one of the most be beautiful collections of light lettuces I've ever seen. The house dressing was amazing (and available for sale).Service was extremely attentive including a visit from the chef.This was a very special dinner and I would highly recommend a night at Restaurant Rias.
