We visited for dinner on a cool October evening and warm central fireplace added to relaxing atmosphere. Menu is heavily focused on different fondue ,cordon bleu , unique burgers and tartar starters. Pricey as most of Switzerland but attentive ,helpful service. Convenient walk from the Hotel Welcome Inn where we were staying. We had an enjoyable but simple dinner.

This is an extremely expensive restaurant, about USD $80 per person for a 3 course meal without alcohol. I can't blame the restaurant for this, meat is very expensive in Switzerland. I have eaten here in the past and had good service, but this time, the service was poor - the waiter was arguing with another employee and completely forgot to bring the appetizer that I ordered.A better choice would be the Mercato Restaurant at the Hotel FlyAway, which is only a 5 minute walk away.

We were staying at Radisson Blu hotel for one night before our flight home, and since we were there at dinnertime, we decided to check Angels Wine Tower Grill out. The service was very good. The food was tasty. We did not really try out the wines, but we remember that the wine list was extensive. Chalet Waldgarten has a magnificant view during the day over partof Zurich. At night there is no view but the restaurant itself is a nicelylit complex of two or more dining rooms, a small one and a big one is what I saw.We were 3 people. We had 3 soups for starters, very good celery and pumpkin soups. Each of us took a different main course - meat with either Rosti or shpeatzle a desert for each one and two glasses of wine,2 bottles of water and one coffee. I assume the final sum was around SFR.220 . Its definitely a higher scale restaurant but the prices are much the same like in other up-scale restaurants in Zurich. The food was nice but not outstanding. We had the filet mignon and were disappointed about the meat. It was overcooked and the quality was just ok. So was the rest of the food. The restaurant interior is a bit pseudo ski lodge, but was ok. The service was very friendly and attentive though. If you want a good meat, go to the nearby Rollis steakhouse.Dear luxuryvoyage,thank you for your feedback.
