I had dinner on a weeknight when it was quite crowded. Still I was seated promptly at a common table, where I enjoyed the company of other travelers. I ordered the small version of the Zuericher Geschnetzeltes which was plenty enough for me. The meat was cut in not so small pieces and could have been a little more tender, The salad bar looked very tempting but was quite pricey to add to the meal.

Went for an early dinner with my husband and 3y. daughter and had an excellent dinner: the food was impecable, we were greated by the owners and felt the whole time really welcome in this family restaurant. Highlight: My daughter got to wish wathever she wanted to eat (french fries with a cucumber and tomato salad). Definetively recommend!

Excellent service, friendly, helpful, good business lunch and others, very comfortable seating, rather quiet without unpleasant music. Dessert is a tiny bit on the sweet side but beautifully presented. The price of the business lunch is acceptable for an expensive city like Zürich. My friends have lamb, they find it good. The service is very attentive. I've been three times now, and this has become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I'm Swiss but have been living in the USA and Asia for 30 years, therefore I really appreciate great Swiss food, such as served here. The decor is contemporary, tasteful, it feels light and airy and yet they managed to create a warm and cozy ambiance. On all three occasions, the food was outstanding and the service is fantastic. Warm, friendly, not stuffy, not overbearing, but efficient and professional. They have an extensive wine selection as well. If you need to entertain guests and want to impress, this is the place to go, just a short drive from downtown Zurich. The prices are very reasonable for Swiss standards, entrees are priced in the CHF 35 to CHF 45 range, with a couple of filet dishes in the CHF 60 range. Well-worth every franc! Every dish I've ordered came out looking perfect and tasting fantastic. The restaurant close to the airport has a good variety of good traditional Swiss food. Always a good choice. In summer there is a nice garden area to sit outside. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable with good portions.

Only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was great. One of the better omelettes I have had recently at a hotel breakfast. A little slow on noticing people wanted coffee refills but otherwise the food was very good and a wide selection. For the celebration of my mother's 90st birthday, she choose the "Frohsinn" which we visit every now and then only, as it is a distance from our home. The welcome was warm, gracious and accommodating, the table in the wintergarden lovingly set and the service very attentive. We were able to have a drink bevor lunch on the terrace, as the weather was very nice, which of course added to our well being. I had pre-ordered the menu and the preparation of the food was excellent, the meet (a veal roast) very tender and juicy and the presentation very appealing. It tasted excellent and the wine we had chosen was great as well. We will certainly return and can only recommend the restaurant.

Truly an amazing experience!This was just a random find on TripAdvisor. In all the years I've stayed in the area, we've never found this hidden gem.Rias is a small restaurant on a residential street maybe a five minute walk the center of Kloten. Very engaged and efficient staff with impeccable service. Elegantly set table was awaiting us. The menu is very diverse, but each of us went with one of the chef's specials for the evening. One was a collection of venison and the other a selection of four seafood items. Both were exquisite. We all started with the green salad - one of the most be beautiful collections of light lettuces I've ever seen. The house dressing was amazing (and available for sale).Service was extremely attentive including a visit from the chef.This was a very special dinner and I would highly recommend a night at Restaurant Rias.

We visited for dinner on a cool October evening and warm central fireplace added to relaxing atmosphere. Menu is heavily focused on different fondue ,cordon bleu , unique burgers and tartar starters. Pricey as most of Switzerland but attentive ,helpful service. Convenient walk from the Hotel Welcome Inn where we were staying. We had an enjoyable but simple dinner.

What a great good size meal by friendly staffItâs great to find such a friendly restaurant that go to such lengths to please a customer.We visited here on Sun night 9th June 2019 as a 36-person final dinner by the travel company. An example is that I like my meat cooked of âno pinkâ even that was simplicity and my colleague liked pink and his was cooked to his liking.In this restaurant you donât feel crowded in as there is space between tables, photo I have attached a photo of my meal to show the quantity plated.
