We were happy to accept a 40 minute wait and 15% public holiday surcharge...but what a disappointment. $30 for 2 long blacks and the smallest serve of toast we have ever received in W.A.$7.95 for one piece of fruit toast and $7.95 for the thinnest slices of rye toast...it look like they'd used a meat slicer as a couple at another table suggested. We know it was the local wood fired bread...which we have bought many times....does the mark up have to be so much. It's pure greed....we won't be back. Nor the 8 other people at our table. Fortunatly for you tourist don't have many options and you guys sure knows" how to make hay when the sunshines".

Really nice little spot, nice set up with vintage and upcycled furniture styling the place. But what really surprised me is that a place using recycled furniture only offers the option of a throw away cup. Pretty poor on the environmental responsibility front in this day and age. Room for improvement team!Hey there,Thanks very much for the feedback, Unfortunately, our licensing only allows for takeaway cups. However, we do explain to everyone that does not wish to utilize our bio-degradable cups that they can bring their own keep cup and receive a 0.50c discount. We have also looked into getting a recycling program for our store where all of the waste products, bio-degradable cups, coffee grinds, cardboard and food are collected separately and disposed of correctly. Unfortunately again, this is only available in the Perth CBD area. We are hopeful that the South West can also benefit from this in the near future. We hope you enjoyed your coffee and visit and look forward to seeing you again.

This gem right down at Yallingup Beach serves super yummy breakfast options and also have a great lunch menu. Finally a place which serves Italian Piadina with several filling options. And the coffee is just like I remember it from Italy. This joint is done-in or take-away and pet friendly. There is even Yoga available upstairs. And I’m most impressed by the environmental efforts the owner and staff practice.

My sister and I stumbled across this delightful property while in search of olives. We had the opportunity to sample a variety of their products and would recommend the Petra Raspberry and Petra Apple Balsamic vinegars. We enjoyed the very relaxing atmosphere and grounds and the added bonus of the photo opportunity with kangaroos of all shapes and sizes. The property also offers accommodation and is dog friendly for those with canine companions. Well worth a visit.

I found the decor inside to be nice and it was warm on a cold Winter evening. My son loved his ham and cheese toastie (ciabatta). I ordered the 3 course meal with wine for $75 - cheaper than ordering them separately. My corn and cauliflower soup was pretty bland and the addition of a few chorizo slices on top seemed misplaced. I’m not one for normally adding salt and pepper to my meals but it was really needed here. No bread either, could have really done with it. My husband had the hummus and was disappointed to find that it was literally that - a bit of hummus smeared on the plate with a few under cooked vegetables. No crackers. His main was the lamb ribs which he found very fatty. I had the duck which was quite nice, although again under seasoned. The dessert of Persian date cake was so incredibly sweet it was almost inedible. If I had paid the preposterous $18.50 for this I would felt extremely ripped off. Overall I think the menu is too limited and the meals are way over priced for the standard delivered. A rather arrogant feel about the place. Lamont’s really appreciates your feedback and we are sorry for your experience, we are always trying to improve what we do here.

Second time we have been. First time was exceedingly busy so accepted slow food delivery. Second time quite a few empty tables but still nearly an hour for brunch. Food is great but just too slow.Hi Brendon W,We apologise that you had to wait for your food with us. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product and do our best not to compromise on that even when it is busy. Sometimes the kitchen can be busier than it may appear to the customer if there are large tables or a table has a particularly complicated order, all of which take longer to create for our chefs. We have some new faces in the kitchen, several talented chefs that we are excited to have on board, and as they find their feet we will continue to improve our service and wait times as we have always strived to do. We are continually upgrading our systems and equipment, and will in fact be shut for a couple of weeks from next week for this very reason. We very much hope you will come and visit again and enjoy the great food. Many thanks for your feedback, we absolutely take it on board.Have a great day.The Goanna Team

Beautiful settings with stunning sculptures set the scene.Warm welcome by friendly staff.Very nice to see an abbreviated menu ensuring quality dishes.A simple starter of bread shows the attention to detail, 2 slices of thick grilled sourdough with whipped feta and butter, olive oil , best dish of this type I have had..$10 !A beautiful pulled lamb pasta dish followed, chocolate brownie and excellent coffee to finish..all so very very good. Excellent wine, honey to taste then a very reasonable bill.Visit here, you will not be disappointed!
