Reviewed By J0rmaMNice in city center. Previous orthodox center, it seems inside in dining room. We had room 222 and it was pretty cold all nigth long, too heavy air condition without possibilitues to change it. Food was excellent tasty and personal was really helpfull.

Reviewed By Relax31501368848I was in transit journey in Iisalmi and staying Sokos Hotel Koljonvirta. As a member of Sokos Hotel Group it was safe pick for me. I arrived to Hotel by car and Hotel had parking area in back Yard and it was free. From parking area you can enter directly to Hotel reception. Check-in was fast and service was friendly. My room was spacious and view was to ”main road” of Iisalmi. However I didn’t hear any noise from traffic. Hotel doesn’t have pool but nice sauna area in top floor. Hotel has separate sauna areas for men and women. Breakfast was basic. Nothing special but included basic scandinavian breakfast ingredients. Overall my stay was very good and I can recommend Hotel to all visitors in Iisalmi.

Haapaniemi offers a restaurant that serves by pre-orders. There is accommodation in holiday cabins and at the Haapaniemi mansion. We organize a variety of program, outdoor activities and nature trips. Pets are not allowed in mansion rooms, but are welcome to stay in cottages.

Reviewed By TarjasblogWir haben in einer Villa direkt am See übernachtet. Im Haus befinden sich mehrere Schlafzimmer und eine Sauna, dazu eine großzügige Terasse. Nebenan kann man zusätzlich eine sehr besondere Rauch Sauna mieten. Essen kann man sich ins Haus bringen lassen oder im Haupthaus essen gehen. Toller Service, freundliche Menschen, ein Platz voller Ruhe, Stille und Frieden.

Koljonvirta manor is open around the year and has room for 20 people. There are six rooms (4x 2 person & 2x 6 person rooms. The guests share common parlour, which has a small kitchen with a fridge and microwawe oven. On top of that there are two toilets and a shower. Every room has a television. Some of the rooms have own toilets and shower/bathtub. Pets are not allowed in the rooms. At Koljonvirta Manor you can accommodate yourself in a tent, cabin, camper, camping trailer or in the completely renovated main building which breathes a long line of local tradition. The Manor is open around the year while the camping services are only offered during summer time (from May till September). During summer time you can also find a café and kiosk within the area. Outside the summer you can reserve a cabin or a room from the main building. The Koljonvirta Manor kitchen is open around the year. There are also saunas in the camping area.

Reviewed By a_nordic_touristI came here because all hotels were sold out. Thought that I book a room in B&B type of guesthouse. At least the price indicated it (almost same price as in Iisalmi). In the end this is like hostel. You get sheets and a towel (NOT TOWELS) and you need to make your own bed. In toilet/shower which is common for several rooms there were no soap and nothing to dry your hands. First night there was loud group outside until midnight. Next night karaoke in the first floor until 23.30 and then next hour moving stuff out from the karaoke. Nice, isn't it. Not to say that I booked for 3 nights already 1.5 months in advance and then they cancelled the 3rd night just before my arrival. Avoid this place if you can

Reviewed By AEL2020Never again! Room smelt terrible, beds were way too soft. Only good thing in this hotel was location. They have bring towels from grandmums home, not from shop. If you like 70' this is suitable place to you, anyone else - take room from another hotel.
