Reviewed By ElinaMirjamiReally nice, fresh hotel, centre of Tornio. Good aircondition. Good cleaning. Nice decoration,really good breakfast, nice staff. Would go again. You may hear some noice from cars from the below street at weekends, since the rooms are at second floor.

There is free WiFi available in a hotel. Parking behind and opposite the hotel, the parking fee is 5€/night. Nice hotel, updated bathroom with heated floor etc.VERY friendly and helpful staff at the front desk - even to the point of teaching me a few Finnish words each day, to try out on our tour guide. Buffet breakfasts are good value with lots of choices. Sauna and pool all clean, modern and tidy. Easy walk to the shops - and even across the border into Sweden! The area around the hotel seemed okay, but with all the snow about, I can't say anything about the lake/river and park lands. There is a K-Supermarket within a two minute walk from the hotel. As for my room, I had a single supplement room with a large bed. Nice, modern decor with plenty of space, fairly fast wi-fi and a good sized TV. I did not hear any noise from other rooms at all. Shower was hot enough (pre-selected temp control). One elevator - only an issue when a group of folks were checking in at the same time with luggage etc. For the smokers - outside at the front doors. If I were to visit this area again, I would certainly book this hotel.

Reviewed By Sallis KI stayed at Hotelli Olof for one night during my work trip to Tornio. The bed was absolutely my favourite part of the trip. Only noise I heard was when someone in our conference came from dinner a bit later than others but even though my room was facing the road, it was very quiet. Decorations were nice and modern, bathroom very tidy and you could tell the place is new as there was no grime in seams of tiles nor stains on shower walls. Did not try the shampoos and conditioners but the small bottles were cute. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was my second favourite thing in the hotel. Porridge (oat meal) bar was just what I needed to get the day started. Location of the hotel is also quite nice - you can go easily for a walk to centrum or by the riverside.

Reviewed By SoanhebEihän Joentalo mikään luxushotelli ole, huoneet ovat yksinkertaisia ja vanhahtavia, mutta todellatodella siistejä, mukavia ja sisältää kaiken tarvitseman mm. mukavan ja puhtaan sängyn, television, jääkaapin ja kylppärin. Myös oleskelutila ja keittiö löytyy, missä voi keittää kahvia ja kokkailla mikäli huvittaa. Ulkoapäin rakennukset ja piha on upea näin talvella, joten voin vain kuvitella miltä se näyttää kesällä! Sijainti on hyvä, reilu 2km Tornion keskustaan. Aamupala on perushyvä: leipää, karjalanpiirakoita, leivänpäällystää, joghurttia, muroja, pekonia, munia, prinssinakkeja, silliä, juomia (tuoremehuakin) yms. Asiakaspalvelu oli ystävällistä ja muutenkin moitteetonta, meille laitettiin jopa oma saunavuoro kun muut majottujat olivat miehiä (sauna tosin oli niiiin kuumalla jotta siellä olisi voinut kunnolla heittää edes löylyä, siitä miinus) Kaikenkaikkiaan ihana loma!

Reviewed By Karlijn47During our Scandinavia holiday tour we spent 3 nights at this campground. It's a nice camping with a lot of room and a beatifull place to stay. The only thing I did'nt like was the traffic noise, but it was a campground in the center of Tornio, so you were sure to hear a lot of traffic noise. Because we stayed here out of the season it was normally the reception is't open the whole day, but from 16.00 - 21.00 they were opened. The surrounding of this place was okay, the showers and toilets were very clean and the possibility to do your laundry and washing your dishes was clean as well.

Really nice hotel
Reviewed By NooraP107We stayed here for one night. Suite was bigger than I thought. Room was clean and it had pretty decoration. Sauna and bathroom was big! I haven’t slept this good for a long time. Breakfast was ok, it was in a different building across the street. I would go here again when I’m staying in Tornio.

Not a bad place to stay for the undemanding traveller
Reviewed By gobuntiI stayed here for one night in early October. Arriving by bus from Kemi, finding it was not easy but luckily a very kind kebab shop owner where I stopped to seek directions was more than happy to drive me there. It is in fact only a 15 minute walk into the centre of town. The reception was friendly and helpful, I was, as it turned out the only guest. My room did not have a bathroom but obviously that proved no problem for me. Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable and I had no complaints. The immediate area is residential and very quiet. The owner arranged a taxi to take me to the bus station early the next morning.
