Halpa aittamajoitusta - cheap and clean rooms
Reviewed By Heli KMajoitumme Mäntän reissullamme Peltolan luomutilalle. Kolmelle aikuiselle Kallen kämppä oli sopivan suuri. Ei sovi kuitenkaan liikuntaesteiselle, sillä ylös kiivetään jyrkkiä portaita. Kallen kämpässä oli oma wc, mutta pesutilat ja sauna oli yhteiset muiden kanssa. Tämä olikin meillä tiedossa. Kallen kämpässä oli varusteluna myös jääkaappi sekä mahdollisuus keitellä kahvia ja tehdä ruokaa vaikka itse. Wi-fi toimi hyvin ja huone oli siisti. Pihapiirissä ei tällä kertaa maalaisidylliä oikein ollut, sillä tilalla tehdään laajennusta 200 vuotta vanhaan päärakennukseen. Aamulla pihaan ajoi betoniauto. Tästä olisi emäntä voinut mainita, kun majoituksen varasin puhelimitse. Aamiainen on perus aamiainen - nälkä lähtee kyllä. Jos perheen kanssa etsii maalaisidylliä, jossa on elämiä, tämä majoitus ei ole siihen sopiva. Eläimiä ei ole, ja pellotkin ovat kuulemma vuokralla toiselle viljelijälle. Tilalla on savusauna, jonka voi erillismaksusta pyytää lämmittämään. Myös sub-lautoja ja soutuvene löytyy vuokrattavaksi. Meillä tämä nyt meni, sillä tulimme illalla ja tarvitsimme vain yöpaikan. Jos tulet illemmalla kuten me (klo 19 aikoihin) kannattanee pyytää emäntää varamaan ajan yhteiseen saunaan ja suihkuun jo ennakkoon. Meille kolmelle jäi yhteensä 30 minuutin vuoro illaksi. Kutsuisin tätä itse enemmän aittamajoitukseksi kuin maatilamatkailupaikaksi. Hinta ei päätä huimannut €110 kolmelle ja sisälsi myös aamiaisen. We stayed on our trip to Mänttä to the Peltola organic farm. For three adults, Kalle's cabin was suitably large. However, it is not suitable for the disabled, as steep stairs are climbed up. Kalle's cabin had its own toilet, but the bathroom and sauna were shared with others. This was told to us advance. Kalle's cabin was equipped with a refrigerator and the opportunity to make coffee and food yourself. Wi-fi worked well and the room was clean. There was no real country idyll in the courtyard this time, as the 200 years old main house is being expanded. In the morning, a concrete car drove into the yard. This could have been mentioned by the hostess when I booked the accommodation by phone. Breakfast was a basic breakfast. If you are looking for a farm house idyll with domestic animals, this accommodation is not suitable for you. There are no animals, and we were also told that the fields are rented to another farmer. The farm has a smoke sauna, which can be asked to be heated for an extra charge. There are also sub-boards and a rowing boat for rent. For those who just look place to sleep this was ok. If you come in the evening like we did (at 7 pm) I suggest that you ask the hostess to make a reservation for a shared sauna and shower in advance. The three of us had a total of 30 minutes left for the evening. Accommodation was cheap, only €110 for three persons breakfast included.

Hermica is as cosy as it gets. Great sleep, quality breakfast & courteous staff. What more could anybody possibly want?

Reviewed By Traveller007FinlandI had to stay close to Tampere, but preferably to south from Tampere than to north or east. So, I found hotel Ackas from the web and decided to try that. I met the owner who said he runs himself the hotel with eight rooms and that all the rooms tend to be fully booked during ordinary weekdays. - it is easy to believe this after staying a night there. The property is not the most updated one, neither the room, but everything is clean and comfortable. Free coffee, tea and other hot drinks are available as well. Like a free wifi. The breakfast is available from the cafeteria located downstairs. Can't really complain about the stay! When considering the quality experienced versus the price, I have to stay that this was an excellent stay and I truly recommend this hotel to anyone who is willing to get a good stay with low cost!

Reviewed By Kirill ZGreat place! Family managed little hotel with nice rooms, great lake view, tasty restaurant! Crawfish farm only one in Finland. Separate Scandinavian house on the lake absolutely comfortable place for meeting, team building, etc.

Youth Centre Marttinen is one of the Finnish youth centers. Our basic task is to support the growth and development of young people. Marttinen is located in the middle of Finnish nature and lake scenery. The accommodation is possible cottages by the lake or youth hotel's well-equipped rooms. Marttinen is also popular for celebrations, meetings and recreational days, the venue all year round. The center is located in Virrat culturally and historically valuable area, which at the highest spot stands tall built in 1892 Marttinen old vicarage. Each year a number of bridal couples spend a memorable day of celebration vicarage with loved ones.

Lovely area - like a camp
Reviewed By Brooke MWe stayed in a twin room with private bathroom. Rooms very comfortable and clean, and TV and wifi were great. The staff were very helpful, and showed us how to use the washing machine. The breakfast was incredible, so much variety! The setting is lovely in a forest area, but it is quite out of town. Access by public bus is easy though.

Reviewed By purpleneenorGood location. Close to the city centre and railway station, but not in the center of traffic and noise pollution. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, but the sound insulation between rooms, and the hallway was poor. A good choice if you’re looking for modest accommodation for a night or two.
