We visited twice on a recent holiday and enjoyed the range of wines on offer as well as the helpful and friendly staff. The food menu is all locally sourced and is exceptionally delicious. Choice of cheese, seafood, charcuterie etc with bread all served in slate platters. Great value. As we speak only very limited French, the staff were very helpful in recommending wines. The service was quick and cheerful on both visits. Tip: try the rosé, it was excellent!

We found this lovely bar a couple of blocks from our hotel. We'd already eaten but did enjoy the hospitality, the ambience and the Limoux which was the special wine by the glass. They even have a cosy smoking area.

We happened upon this bar on a quick weekend break in northern France! After being ripped off in some on the main town centre bars we were pleasantly surprised to get Verdett on draught at a reasonable price (at the time â¬5.50 for 50cl) The bar staff were friendly and welcoming and the bar had a lovely welcoming atmosphere with uk sport on the tv (added bonus)! The court yard to the rear was also fab.
