Very Good B&B but.....
Reviewed By FyldeRoverUnsure whether to award 5 or 4 for our stay at Manoir de la Croix Sonnet. There were some minor issues that just took the edge of our stay. The continental breakfast was excellent and we particularly liked the orange juicer! Our room was clean, plenty large enough and the combined dressing room/bathroom was a good size too. The swimming pool was a nice bonus being well maintained as were the gardens and patio areas. Our host was friendly although we were handicapped by our lack of fluency in French. Easy drive into Trouville or Deauville for dinner where there are a wide range of restaurants. Now for the "buts" - well minor issues really. Access to the property is difficult, being straight off a roundabout and you are faced with electric doors - ok if you have the key fob but not so good on first arrival. Doorway narrow for larger vehicles so care needed. Bathroom and shower perhaps in need of an upgrade in not too distant future. We had to leave early (8am) to catch our ferry and no breakfast was available so we made do with tea and coffee making facility in our room.

Interesting old hotel
Reviewed By RichardONormandyWe stayed for one night in August, the only place we could get a “cheap” room in Trouville-sur-Mer. Staff welcoming and helpful, parking nearby impossible, room functional, bed comfortable, decor dated, plumbing noisy. No complaints, even the seagulls kept away. Would stay again.

Reviewed By OneLovesTravelThis B&B is ran by a lovely couple and has a nice downstairs sitting area where they serve a small but nice breakfast in the morning BUT we found the rooms small, we were crammed in and it was expensive for what they are, our room also smelled weird and it was very warm in there too. We wouldn’t return.

Reviewed By SuelizjThis little hotel is well placed in the town, near the beach and the main street. The room we were in wasn't very big, but it was clean. The breakfast was basic - baguette & croissant but they were very fresh, the lovely owner goes out early every morning to buy them! And she has a good choice of different teas too. If you want something cheap and cheerful this is a good place to stay.

Reviewed By MrandMrsDudsA light lunch before dinner at the Spinnaker and for some simple salmon and tuna sushi it was just fine. Service was good and there was a good ‘local’ buzz about the place. It doesn’t compare with the better offerings in larger cities in France, but it was perfectly adequate.

Reviewed By Greta BStruttura in mezzo ai campi molto graziosa a conduzione familiare. Camera spaziosa e accogliente, con doccia molto grande. Ottima colazione homemade. Ottima accoglienza da parte di due cagnolini e un ragazzino molto gentile. Però ci sono stati alcuni lati negativi tra cui l’assenza di finestre in camera ( solo porta finestra) e umidità, ma molto calda; Incomprensione per il prezzo finale... abbiamo prenotato su Booking per 65€ a notte con colazione inclusa. La padrona, però, inizialmente ci ha chiesto 105€. A quel punto, spiegando la situazione, il prezzo finale è stato di 75€, dicendoci che la colazione non era inclusa. Consigliato.
