Pinchos

Reviewed By BKAussieTravelAddict

We sat on the bench at the window and is always in to watch the world go by.Go there early on Friday night and had lazy cocktails and selected a range of tapas. The grilled calamari was cooked perfectly and the beef cheek was the best. Warm winter food at its finest.Love the Leederville vibe - a number of stores are closing nearby, I hope this one continues!!!Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Its pleasing to hear you have enjoyed our food and the great Leederville vibe.its disappointing to see some great retails shops crossing around us, but i promise we aren't going anywhere!have a great weekendkind regardsDonna

Andaluz

Tapas, Bar & Restaurant, under the Parker & Parker Building

Atmospheric spot - nicely fitted out interior and some outside seating. Very European....Food was excellent. We had the croquettes, the mushrooms, anchovies, beef and empanadas. All were sensational - beef was beautifully cooked, sauce with empanadas was fruity - couldn’t get enough. Service was efficient and friendly. In keeping with the Spanish flavours they only had Estrella beer. The one downside: not a great beer and I swerved it for a Spanish red. A guest craft beer would be a nice addition.

Duende

Duende is Perth's first and original Spanish tapas bar. Since opening in 2003 it has continued to provide a unique culinary experience dedicated to the Spanish tapas culture with this experienced in warm, rustic surrounds. We are positioned on the fringe

I have eaten at Duende many times and normally really enjoy the food but I was left feeling really disappointed by the chefs menu when i ordered it last wk. I dined with 5 friends and we all found the food selection pretty average. No salad. Only one vegetable dish (baked mushroom). Main Lamb dish was very dry. Really don’t want to say I won’t be in again but I was so underwhelmed by what was served. I did mention it to the wait staff when we realised we’d had all our courses but no remedy was offered.Naturally we were disappointed to read that you did not enjoy our Chef's Selection menu after receiving such positive feedback on it to date. We are very responsive to our guest's needs and would gladly have swapped out a meat dish for a vegetable dish or salad had we been aware of your preference. We appreciate that our guests may have varying tastes and being made aware of your position at the end of the meal presents its own challenge in terms of providing a remedy. Should you choose to return at another time we will be happy to review the menu with you and make changes to better suit your personal taste. We thank you for your feedback and hope will join us again.

Ascua

Ascua – Spanish for ‘ember’ – is a dramatic new concept taking the classic grill to new heights. A striking open kitchen will be the focal point of your visit, showcasing preparation of aged beef and meats, while intimate banquet seating and moody surroun

Went here for a work colleague’s retirement lunch and while the steaks were good they certainly weren’t up there in the pantheon of great steaks I’ve ever eaten. The vegetables were also just ordinary. The creme Catalano was quite good. Excellent service though.
