I came in at the early side of lunch hour, before the restaurant was crowded. Service was extremely quick, the menu isn't huge but has a good variety of options that depart from the standard Italianoid fare you see at many Italian restaurants (and was a welcome change from the Asian-inspired food at many restaurants in the area). Seafood is excellent. Service slowed considerably once I had the food; it took 5+ minutes to flag someone down to get the check. Overall very nice experience though.Dear EEpotter,Thank you for taking the time to rate your experience on Trip Advisor and my apologies for the delayed response. It was really pleasing to read your comments about our Restaurant and staff. I also take on board your constructive feedback regarding service speed later in your dining experience. I greatly appreciate that you chose to dine with us at Julio’s Italian Restaurant. Once again, thank you for the feedback and for letting us know. We hope to see you back at Julio's again soon.Regards,Graeme

This place is intriguing. Unfortunately on the occasion we ventured there, there was a dispute between the owners, and it was spilling out.The venue is ok for an afternoon beverage. The food is very average and probably wouldn't eat there again. Very pricey and very over rated.

A return to this local favourite with a friend and we were welcomed despite the lack of booking on a very busy Saturday night. The service was friendly and our server was friendly and very helpful. The food was again delicious, with ample servings and beautifully presented. It's such a great place and the fact that there were no free tables is testament to their success. Worth the effort. Much gratitude for your lovely post, in hospitality it makes us happy when our customers have a great experience and even more so when we hear about it! Thank you once again.

We came here for my father's 90th birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. He was thoroughly impressed with the food and said it was the best meal he'd ever had. The revolving views were fabulous as he'd come from overseas so it was extra special for him. Thanks to the staff that had our table organised so we would be at the right angle to watch the beautiful sunset. The meals were devine - for entree I had the half cray tail, pork belly & the barramundi for a main. We ordered 1x side of triple cooked chips but could have devoured another as they were superbly naughty. Service was friendly and not pretentious.

To celebrate our friends birthday three of us, former workmates, booked lunch at Rambla on Swan in South Perth. I'd been there for dinner recently and the view of the city across the river during the day was still spectacular. Two of us chose the small fillet steak with cauliflower purée and asparagus and it was perfect. Just the right size for us girls and cooked as requested. Our friend chose the chicken salad with goats cheese and pepitas and he loved every mouthful, The lovely young waitress overheard us mention it was a birthday lunch and surprised us with a yummy cupcake with a sparkler, very special. Thanks Rambla on Swan we had a wonderful experience with you today.

Bistro des Artistes

Authentic French Bistro run by Chef Alain Fabregues of the Loose Box Restaurant in Mundaring. Offering classic French dishes such as the Beef Cheek, Duck Confit and Alain’s superb Seafood Crepe.

Reviewed By CWGSperth

Only recently read in the newspaper that Alain Fabregues hadn’t sold the restaurant. It had been a favourite place for a quick affordable lunch and I always had the duck. The waiter advised there were only 2 serves of the confit of duck left. This was my opportunity to try something else. The snapper fillet was spot delicious served with winter vegetables. By the way I was told the duck was superb. A starter of a Spanish warm salad with Fremantle Sardines was tasty. The waiter was knowledgeable on the food and wines. A very relaxing enjoyable evening. Bistro des Artistes continues to deliver a little of Paris in Perth. (I will have to seek out a duck confit when I am in Paris in September)
