Stopped in for lunch. The staff were friendly, attentive and eager to please. We started with the Octopus Salad, had the whole grilled fish , a glass of wine and a cold beer, finished with some tasty sweets. Everything was done perfectly. A perfect lunch.

The restaurant "O Pescador" is one of the oldest and best restaurants in the Azores. Always with the mission of serving with excellence our customers, serving the best of what is done in the Azores.
Elegant restaurant near the sea serving local high quality food. Nice waiters and international atmosphere, without losing the Azorean essence.Prices may seem quite high at first, but when you get the food served understand it: portions are huge!I had the codfish: it was amazing, huge and delicious, coming with some vegetables that fitted perfectly.I reccomend without doubt! It's great to know you enjoyed dinner here, Shadylau! Thank you for coming and sharing the experience. We look forward to seeing you again if you return to town!

I popped in for a quick bit of lunch on my way to the airport as I had to change buses, looking for the elusive cracas, and ended up having a very nice octopus dish with 1/2 litre of house wine (â¬2.50- wow!!!). The family were really friendly and chatty.

With spectacular views of the Ocean this restaurant is certainly one of the best finds weâve made whilst staying in Porto Martins. Within walking distance of our holiday home we have made reservations to dine every other evening at Buzius and each meal has been abundant in portions, delicious in taste and so reasonably priced we cannot imagine dining elsewhere. The variety of choices on the menu has allowed us to enjoy different meals depending on appetite. No need for an expensive wine list either as the house wine is very good. By the packed crowds each evening we imagine it to be also a local favourite with families as well. Service has been an added treat with the friendly staff assisting us with our choices and most attentive manner. By judging the number of cars in the parking lot we assume it it also popular at lunchtime.

We happened to stop in after a tour nearby, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our meal. We ordered mixed skewers, with squid, fish and grilled peppers and onions--so good. And we also tried the fried forkbeard fish, which was perfectly cooked and so fresh and delicious. Appetizer, of course, was fresh Azores cheese and pepper jam with bread. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the prices were a great value. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop in.
