Tuesday night is trivia night at the OVH and it attracts quite a gathering. Dinner special is roast of the day but the menu is diverse, from burgers, salads, seafood to steak and veges. Friendly atmosphere and huge back deck make this historic pub worth a visit.

Valla Beach Tavern

The sign outside says $7 meals but these didn't seem to be available inside, although we didn't ask. We chose meals for about $11-$15 and they were very basic and bland. The bistro is down a couple of flights of stairs so not easily accessible, the decor is very dated and musty. We went once to give it a chance but wouldn't go back. A shame as there are quite a lot of locals and visitors staying in the area. Recommended to go to one of the two excellent cafes we found nearby rather than waste your money at this tavern.
