My last review was just a trifle negative but I'm pleased to say that this restaurant is back on top again following my lunch experience yesterday. Without doubt the Chinese food served here is better than any you'll find between Kempsey and Coffs Harbour. When it comes to their ingredients, flavour, presentation and size of serve they are tops. In my mind the first three are incredibly important. This review only applies to the restaurant's Chinese food as I have never chosen anything from their extensive European cuisine menu.

Not the best chinese but it was full of flavour. Enjoyed the meals, had lots of leftovers for the following day too. Gave fortune cookies as a freebie, which was nice. Great priced lunch menu.

We really enjoyed our meal which was fresh and tasty. We are vegetarian and the restaurant catered well to our needs and we were impressed with the quality of the food.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday with lunch at Chan's. This is the second time we have been to this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We ordered a Sizzling Combination, Braised Prawns and Vegetables, Steamed Rice and Green Tea. All of the dishes were delicious and there wasn't a scrap left on our plates in the end!. At around $45 our meal was great value for money. Staff were smiling and friendly too and also loved the view across to the river. Recommend!
