A must do if you are in the area, a nice leisurely stroll over the water, where you will see so many fish, some bird life, and possibly some bigger sized creatures if you are lucky.

Urunga Wetlands Boardwalk

Reviewed By rerp - Kibworth Beauchamp, United Kingdom

Entered via a caravan park and has plenty of parking. An excellent walk and if you look over the edge the water is so clear you can see the fish in the water. The broadwalk can we busy but it is still worth a visit for the views, the fish and possibly even the pelican that we saw. No shelter from the sun.

Urunga Boardwalk

Reviewed By MartinBlackDuck - Hunter Valley, Australia

Bracing walk for about Kilometre to the ocean. Love the recycled plastic track and the amazing colour of the ocean. The water around the mangroves sparkled in the sun and a basking eastern water dragon was spotted on a rock beside the walkway. We saw dolphins playing in the waves when we reached the beach end. Highly recommended and easy walk for those who want to take their time.
