Versoix is a municipality in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland, which sits on the north-west side of Lac Léman north-east of the city of Geneva. It is the last town of the Canton of Geneva on the road northeast towards Lausanne, before the Canton of Vaud starts. It is a train stop on the Swiss Federal Railways line running between Coppet and Geneva. On the Vaud side, the next village is called Mies.

Disappointing, since service and food were unsatisfactory. Pizza overcooked, replaced with a new pizza far from cooked. We did not accept a third pizza's replacement. Other pizzas just average. Buffet's food available with apparently good looking, but food picked up un-tasty and too dry (reheating too long). Little choice of desserts since buffet not replenished. One rumsteak de bÅuf sur ardoise was poor. Environment is just fair. Unfortunately not impressed since this was rather a negative experience. At the end of the night, no one came to seek our impressions and say their goodbyes!!

I can truly recommend the Restaurant Vieux Bois to celebrate a birthday lunch. My family and I booked a table outside to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. Jenny Champod did an excellent job in ensuring we had a beautiful birthday cake and an excellent table on the terrace/patio. As starters, the foie gras and cannelloni de crabe were a success. The Gaufre (waffle) aux fines herbes was good although probably too big for a starter. The sole meuniere was delicious (recommended) and the epaule d'agneau also got top marks. The food is beautifully presented and the service was efficient and friendly. I wish all the pupils (staff) much success with their careers in the industry. Well done - and will book a table again very soon.

Lovely seasonal menu with great fresh food, excellent service, great cosy atmosphere and reasonable prices for Geneva.The fish dishes are superb (try the Gormand) and the Tira Misu is sensational, but go for the mixed desserts (which includes Tira Misu).We do thank you for your lovely comment! I stopped here for dinner and I had a great gourmet experience! Very well prepared plates, I took fois gras and a Parmesan risotto with porcini and grapes. Iâm Italian and the risotto was simply amazing. Good selection of wines and very attentive and friendly staff. You can feel this place is a different level!I will come back for sure next time Iâm in Genève!

Cycling to the north east of Geneva on a chilly Sunday morning, I stopped for a snack at this roadside cottage. It turned out to be a little hotel with both a fusion restaurant and a café. I was the only diner in the café and enjoyed an excellent salad and a tasty dish of pasta with walnuts and gorgonzola, washed down with a glass of beer. I got back on my bike refreshed and contented. The only drawback is the location, just a couple of meters from a busy road. On the other hand, it seems that in summer there's a terrace and garden at the back. And the border? Well, "le petit café" is close to the edge of the "canton et république de Genève", where the canton of Vaud begins. And for the record it certainly isn´t located in Geneva (city), but in the town of Versoix.

I was at the OâFive restaurant for a corporate event and was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff as the service was exceptional and the food was delicious. This is a great choice for large groups or company outings!!We enjoyed the food with a wonderful selection of wine from a local wine producer, Domaine les Perriers. We were 2 couples with varied tastes and food issues. All was catered for. Lovely presentation and delicious food.Two of us had a very unusual soup made from Fennel and olive paste with cashew-nuts.( Fenolive) The caviar-beluga (lentils with pomegranate seeds) was a delight.
