I was at the OâFive restaurant for a corporate event and was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff as the service was exceptional and the food was delicious. This is a great choice for large groups or company outings!!We enjoyed the food with a wonderful selection of wine from a local wine producer, Domaine les Perriers. Can definitely recommend their winesA big thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience!!

We have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years now. In the past the waiters would bring you little white tables with plate warmers on in order to keep your second helping of filets de perches warm. Now that nearly all the perche in lac leman have been fished you only get one helping.. but you still get the little table. The waiter serves your one helping of fish from the unlit plate warmer with a great flourish and then leaves the table there.. slightly absurd and a little Alice in Wonderland like. Less agreeable than this however is the fact that waiters now use these little tables to put dirty plates on.. so you may end up sitting with somebody elses left overs next to you.. even if this is just for a few minutes its really unpleasant. I saw a couple of tables with small plates and spoons left on them for the best part of an hour. The staff were run off their feet so Im not blaming them.. somebody is probably making a lot of money from this restaurant and could well afford to pay someone to make sure the restaurant is tidy. I have many fond memories of the Creux de Genthod and will continue to go but for the price you pay you should be able to sit in somewhere which is not as messy as a Macdonalds.

First visit to this trattoria. Both the saltimbocca served with noodles and the rumstake with a sauce aux morilles, a mixture of vegetables and chips were very plentiful and of excellent taste. The boss and his staff are friendly and also generous with the portions of wine, limo cello served if not offered.By the number of guests coming and going with or without pizzas this looks like a very popular restaurant.

We were 2 couples with varied tastes and food issues. All was catered for. Lovely presentation and delicious food.Two of us had a very unusual soup made from Fennel and olive paste with cashew-nuts.( Fenolive) The caviar-beluga (lentils with pomegranate seeds) was a delight. Variety of bread rolls freshly baked at the auberge was a pleasure too. The highlight for me was the dessert. Bolero, right opposite the Versoix station, is a great place for a weekend evening. The food was good (at least the salads, ribs, salmon and risotto were!) but more importantly, the cocktails were great - the Pisco Sour is totally recommended! The vibe in the place was casual and warm and there was live music later at some point (the band that eve was 'meh' but generally it is good apparently). The staff were helpful and friendly too - not to be taken for granted in these parts! Highly recommended spot!

I am a regular customer either for lunch or dinner.The food is always to the mark.Service is precise and friendly.Our starter was a poached egg cooked to perfection.A simple dish but very well executed.The fish,Turbot,was excellent.Cooked to perfection with a lovely celery pure.Good cafe gourmand.Excellent Viognier wine from the regioThis Auberge is very often full which goes to show the quality delivered.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at Restaurant Du Lac at the end of June after a long flight from Toronto to Geneva as we drove to Berne for a week of work. The service by our young French waiter is what made our visit enjoyable. His wine recommendations were very helpful. WTS, we were disappointed in the food though it was really not bad, just not great as we'd expected based on the reviews et cetera. The terrace is an enjoyable place to have lunch and view the lake.For CH this is a medium priced establishment but for a North American (i.e. Canadian) paying with weaker currency it is costly. We enjoyed a far superior lunch on the shore of Lake Garda for half the price and did not leave thinking Restaurant Du Lac was good value for money.

Charming decor , excellent service, superb wines and food.Although it looks like a roadside cafe, this little restaurant supplied the highest quality cuisine.We all had the perch fillets ( no bones and beautifully arranged around the plate), with crunchy chips/fries and a green salad, the whole washed down with the excellent Geneva chardonnay. Do not miss out ! 100% reccomended.

Versoix has many good restaurants and the vieux-port is one of the best in my opinion. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, innovative, nouvelle cuisine inspired and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
