This is a chalet style building situated half way up a mountain, possibly further. It is very atmospheric and seems to specialize in indoor bbq (raclette , fondues etc) with lots of cheese. We had a raclette and melted in front of it even in midwinter. For the price there was not a lot of beef and less vegetables for the raclette. The place is very atmospheric with strong aromas of charcoal , melting cheese and cooking beef. The staff were friendly speaking several languages

New owners have made this restaurant seem more open to the unique views over lake Divonne : very lovely in this months winter light. The chef continues with a Menu one can compose individually, from a choice of four vg entrees followed by four main courses or add in a desert for extra cost, All beautifully cooked and presented. The new carpeting, comfortable seating and space between tables encourages conversation ! Service a bit unassured as yet ,but endeavouring to be helpful.

We were 2 couples with varied tastes and food issues. All was catered for. Lovely presentation and delicious food.Two of us had a very unusual soup made from Fennel and olive paste with cashew-nuts.( Fenolive) The caviar-beluga (lentils with pomegranate seeds) was a delight. Variety of bread rolls freshly baked at the auberge was a pleasure too. The highlight for me was the dessert. Fabulous salad buffet. Freshly cooked pasta and pizzas. Delicious fish and chicken dishes, stirfrys, all cooked in front of you. Pastries, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee and more.
