The menu is comprehensive and also provides a kiddies menu. Service is good and efficient. Management is is attendance. The food is simply presented but of good quality and portions are satisfactory. The coffee was of good taste and strength. The toilets were clean and accessible.

This restaurant which is established on the premises of a nursery right on the edge of the Vlei with awesome picturesque views of Table Mountain and Lions Head in the background remains a world class venue especial-lii now that some major up-grades and renovations have been made! The Venue Function addition which is like a Chapel with the Seating hall next to it and an Atrium which is lit up by the sun-light coming in through shining direct-lii on the beautiful small garden where the children’s play-ground and slide is, creates an amazing paradise atmosphere! Clean neat and stunning Gardens which adds to the enjoyment of the divine food dishes on offer! There menu is like an encyclopaedia, thick and even a Kid-ii’s menu included! The staff are always enthusiastic right from the day you phone to make your Reservations, you can hear that they are only too pleased to assist you and when you get here the same consistencii is to be found they make you feel welcomed and they are full-ii at your service! If you arrive here and get good Seating with the awesome views of the one and only Table Mountain it’s just too breath-taking to witness the difference in the views of the mountain with the setting of the sun! Awesome-lii beautiful! Tonight we are here for a Burger Night out, they have the Deluxe, Cheese & Bacon, Pepper and Hawaiian burgers which turned out to be insidious-lii delicious with the inch-thick genuine pure beef patties! We just find this venue to be always magical as they even light a log fire when the chill sets in making it coz-ii and very romantic! Absolute-lii a monies-worth visit every time! …………..Full bar and divine coffee’s and cappuccinos on offer too!!............Very familii friend-lii!..... Delicious varietii of desserts!.....

My family and I have been visiting Caffé Villagio since it opened. In 2007, I had my Confirmation dinner here and in 2013, I had my 21st party here. On both occasions the venue was transformed into what the event required, with delicious food and wonderful hospitality by Chris and the team.
I often stop by for a drink - my favourite is the coffee milkshake - and yesterday my family and I went for lunch. We had open schwarmas of either chicken, pork or lamb and they were divine!! For dessert we had Caffé Villagio's salted caramel cheesecake - the most amazing cheesecake I've ever had in my life!!
I'd recommend this restaurant to all and I'll definitely be back...this weekend.

I strongly recommend, it may be full but you will be served and they will deliver a scrumptious meal. Great deals though and that same signature taste :)!

We visited Mike's Kitchen on Koeberg for an early supper. The food was Excellent!! Hubby's steak was cooked to perfection, Calamari was delicious and the Chicken dish topped with olives, salsa and cheese, was delectable.
Cocktails were great ( however, i didn't enjoy my Mojito in a whiskey glass) We had a 3 year old with us as well, and the staff was very accommodating.
Indulged in the Oreo Crunch dessert, which was perfect!

When I first visited the Beach Tavern two years ago it was new and exciting. Visiting Cape Town again I was excited to go back. Sadly, nothing has changed and everything seems rather jaded. A large selection of craft beers adorns the outside wall but most of them aren't available, a smell of stale beer and cigarettes prevails, and the food - pizzas excepted - is not particularly good. This place could be exceptional; it has an amazing location; but a revamp of menus and stock, and a good clean and paint is needed.

Go here often as I can because the manager always remembers my order perfectly every time I go (eat Thai curries a lot) the staff are amazing and polite as well as my dishes are always AMAZING! Feel very comfortable when I eat out there.

Tessa's is one of my regular outings due to it's location. Their new premises has allowed them to expand their range and offerings. Seating available together with drinks, makes for a wonderful outing any time of the year, but birthdays are more special, shared over your favorite treat with a good cup of coffee in hand. Prices have increased substantially across the board but still a treat nonetheless.
