Tightline Tours

Reviewed By Ckolody - Winnipeg, Canada

We had a lovely morning fishing. There were about 10-11 of us on the boat - lots of room for everyone. The weather was perfect and we all caught a lot of mackerel. We stopped at one spot that wasn't as good for fishing, so Spencer found a better spot for us to fish. We would have spent the whole day out fishing if we could have.

We were impressed by the variety of PEI-made art -- paintings, jewelry, knitted items and most very affordable. One artist was there explaining his work, and the woman at the counter had great information on the area.We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to the gallery. Our artisans volunteers look forward to sharing their work and knowledge of the products which are all made by artists living in Eastern PEI. Thanks for your visit!

River Run Dining Cruises

Sail the richly historic Three Rivers aboard the Skylark VIII. The beautiful vessel provides Seating for 36 people, with each table providing a great view of the scenery. The fully enclosed dining area allows the boat to sail, rain or shine! In it's second season in Montague, the Skylark has been a hot spot for locals and tourists alike! The perfect place for a private function too! Our most popular cruise, the Sunset Dining Cruise, consists of a four course meal on the water as the sun sets. The menu consists of chowder, salad, your choice of main, and dessert. The main choices are ricotta and spinach stuffed chicken or lobster cold plate. Menu and prices subject to change, confirm by telephone or email for current pricing and schedule. Sunset cruise currently runs Tuesday-Saturday.

My husband won a gift certificate for here when we were at a kaylee the other night. What a wonderful way to experience Montague and area. Food was absolutely amazing. You couldn't ask for anything more. Great evening and met some wonderful people. We would go again in a minute.

Sally's Beach Provincial Park

Reviewed By Jurora - Peterborough, ON

We enjoyed our time here, on a quiet beach day. The weather was cooler than usual, so I guess that's why there weren't many people there. Lots of beachcombers, as well as myself. The beach is quite long, for wandering. There are washrooms and changing facilities, but no food to purchase. It's an unsupervised beach. It's quite aways in from the main highway, #4.

Buffaloland Provincial Park

Reviewed By Picky_1_Traveller - St. Catharines, Canada

Stopped by today despite the not so good reviews. Large enclosure for the Buffalo to roam in and hide. While on the lookout platform with not a buffalo in sight I began to make noise and call to them. What could it hurt? To my utter amazement one came through the trees. He's probably thinking who is the idiot making all the noise. Shortly after his friends also came out. They were still far away but at least I saw them and a baby as well. Glad I made a fool of myself! LOL!

Roma at Three Rivers National Historic Site

Reviewed By Paul B - Abbotsford, Canada

This is a reconstruction of a 17th century pioneer outpost. It is well sign-posted from the highways around George Town. There are several log buildings and a pioneer garden. When we visited on June 4th, none of the buildings were open, and the site showed no signs of being prepared for visitors. Later in the year, when it is open, it would be more interesting.

Garden of the Gulf Museum

Reviewed By Robertam187 - Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Our visit to the Museum was the highlight of our visit to P.E.I. We had set out to find our grandparents home and their gravesite. We had spent most of our childhood summers on the Island. Our father had passed away and we weren't sure of where our grandparents were buried. With the help of the Curator, Donna Collings, we were able to get the information we needed. She spent hours with us and nothing, but nothing was too much trouble for her. She also arranged a meeting with The Honorable Lawrence A. MacAulay, P.C., M.P. Cardigan. He and his staff were able to fill in other information on our family.
We met an American gentleman in the Museum who also received invaluable information and like us, was able to find his family. We would highly recommend a visit here. you will not be sorry. If you need ANY help on heritage issues, this is the place to start.
