Forget the two 'Terrible' reviews, this place is an absolute delight. Peaceful location alongside the lake was complemented by delicious food and friendly service from a lovely couple. The lady owner who personally cooks all the meals came several times to check that everything was OK. As we had never been to Lisle Sur Tarn before, she took the trouble to show us a short cut to the town centre. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

We discovered this charming restaurant by accident, while we were enjoying a driving tour trying to locate pigeonnaires. Our lunch was delicious and well-priced. I had a cheese plate that was a work of art, and our dessert - creme caramel - was absolutely spectacular. Our table was adjacent to the open fireplace, which added to the warmth and ambiance. Our attempts at French were terrible, but the waitress was very patient and accommodating. This is a lovely town with a very interesting Museum of Chocolate Art.

Bon, j'avoue ne pas y avoir mangé, mais juste bu quelques bières et/ou des cafés le samedi, jour de marcas à Rabastens.Ambiance "néo-baba", tables colorés, c'est à la bonne franquette, cool et relax, voilà un endroit sans prétention, associatif et ça fait du bien !Des concerts une fois par mois à partir du printemps je crois, on y passe de bonnes soirées. Pour être tout à fait honnête, on ne vient pas chercher le calme ici, car la route est vraiment toute proche, il y a d'autres bars, sur les allées, bien plus tranquille.

Visit at lunchtime and you will be absolutely delighted. This is a little gem of a restaurant tucked away in a tiny village on the edge of the Gaillac wine region. The set menu at lunchtime offers a good choice of beautifully presented meals and exceptional value for money. We visit the area frequently and have been here many times. I can thoroughly recommend it. In summer it is very pleasant to eat outdoors under the shade of the mature trees in the garden. Lovely tranquil atmosphere.

We stopped off here recently on an intensely warm day, with temperatures at 38Ë and rising. We mistimed out trip, arriving in the middle of the day - just as the restaurant had stopped serving food. However, they very kindly directed us to the local boulangerie, where we bought food and then they welcomed us back into their shaded cafe and served us drinks. They were so kind as we were tired and hot. The coffee was the best cup that I have tasted on this holiday. Thanks guys - you are life savers :-)

Des produits frais dans un endroit simple , petit , mais il faut y aller au moins une fois pour apprécier la qualité des produits , et le savoir faire du chef . Certes , un plat unique , mais au moins , ce n'est pas du " réchauffé " de la veille . A découvrir .

We were on our way to Toulose airport and found this place by chance. It's not a fancy place but it serves great food. The place was rather busy as there was only one person serving. We were worried that we may not be served in time to get our flight. We mentioned to the lady that we had a flight to catch and she made note and gave us priority. The fixed price menu were â¬20 or â¬26 for a 3 course meal. There were supplement to some dishes and it was well marked. The meal was excellent - simple and good. I had a mango & avacado salad topped with ghia seeds. My husband had salad with stewed pork topped with garlic & eggs. It was rather unusual & scrumptious. For mains, we both had beef with was cooked to perfection! It came with potato gratin and also had salt with rosemary was on the side. For dessert, the chocolate was home made & had a lovely soft base. The lemon mousse was delicious as well Together with drinks, the meal came to just under â¬60 which was excellent value. Definitely worth while going if you are around the area.

The ethical approach, excellent quality produce and fabulous talents of the chef make this the nicest cafe around for Saturday morning coffee/breakfast, week night dinner or a chill anytime - with vinyls supplied by the local record shop and regular concerts. Small intimate vibe, seating is doubled by the outdoor space. I don't go here as much as I would like - its important to support local and this they do - tarn cola, and local beers. I'm already looking forward to long summer nights sitting out front...
