Yesterday was the 3rd of July. What is more American than Fried Chicken and nobody nationwide does it better than Popeye's! This Popeye's has been a go to place for us over the past couple years. The place is always clean and the workers are always polite and friendly! Our chicken was delicious!

I went to the Church's to taste the new Chicken. There were several people there in line, but they were serving one person, and would not take the next order until that person's order was paid and delivered. I waited over 20 minutes to order one Chicken dinner and some jalapeno poppers. Several people left because she was taking so long.It finally was my turn to order and the girl at the counter asked "What do you want?" (not may I help you please). She had done the same thing to the person in front of me, an there was a young woman who worked at the attached store who had to go back to work with no food because they had taken so long her dinner break was over. When the girl said "I give up" the counter girl said "not my problem".I ordered my chicken box and the drink to go with it. She told me the amount and I said "I'm not done ordering". She said If I wanted to order more I would have to go to the back of the line. I ended up just ordering what she said I could order.I got home and the food was hot, but the "HALF CHICKEN" was smaller than I am accustomed to getting if I just order a breast. The wing and leg had been under the heat lamp so long that it was a s hard as a piece of firewood.I will say the potatoes were pretty good.Needless to say this is not a fair representation of the people in Scott, Louisiana. It appeared that the girl serving the food did not want to be at work and she was taking it out on the customers. I do not plan on going back to this Church's as there is another chicken place a couple of doors down the street.

This Sub Way is the best. Always friendly staff and they really give you a fair amount of food on your sandwich. I find some SubWays to be stingy, but not this one. They do a fabulous lunch time business!

Grew up in Lafayette and have been going here as long as I can remember. Something really special about these burgers! Wish I had the recipe so I could make them at home in Texas! My mom used to order over the phone then drive to the side lot and honk the horn, then curb service! Great memories! Wish they still did that!! Lol. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat and you don't want to take a chance then this McDonald's is for you. Typical of most McDonald's it is clean, and fast. The restrooms are normally clean.You can go across the street and get amazing boudin balls at Billy's. You can pass it and get fabulous food from sandwiches to Gumbo to Cajun delicacies at Fezzo's. Order at Fezzo's to go and it's almost as fast as McDonald's. Go a little further down and get Italian with a Cajun Twist at Rochetto's. You can get a REAL HAMBUGER like homemade at Don's specialty meats. WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE McDONALD'S OVER ANY OF THE PLACES WITHIN 500 YARDS OF McDONALD'S? It just does not make sense!I stopped here to get some fries and a milkshake for the road while I drove to Baton Rouge. If that's all you want then by all means stop at McDonald's in Scott!

While attending the Scott Lousiana Boudin Festival in April 2018 I parked across the street from this market and went in before entering the festival. They had lots of prepared meats we can't get at home in Florida and before leaving Scott, my wife and i bought some to take home. They also have their own seasoning they use on their meats. They have a small lunch deli in front and a few tables to sit on but we did not eat in the store. At the festival they were handing out samples of sausage with steems syrup. The sample was so good I had to eat a sandwich and bought some to take home later.

I have eaten here a few times and have always found the food and service to be very good. The prices are reasonable and the location is handy to get to.
