We are lucky to live in Lafayette for four months every spring. Living in the heart of crawfish country is not only tasty, but educational. Crawfish Time is our number one destination for boiled crawfish. The large mudbugs are purged very well and spiced to perfection. You can get pounds to go, steaming hot, or eat in their non- fancy dining room lined with the owners' mounts. Can't wait till next year!

Home of the Original Charbroiled Oyster! Drago's Seafood Restaurant serves authentic New Orleans cuisine with a Cajun flair.
Service and food were excellent, my first trip here, and it will not be my last. Manager was present and making sure everyone was taken care of.

Brothers, Steven and Patrick O'Bryan grew up together in Louisiana. They always had a love for food, especially authentic Cajun cuisine! They enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well, which is what led them to open up their first restaurant,

Love the decor and the setup of this restaurant. Great service from the time you enter to the time you leave. Food is spectacular. Great flavor and properly proportioned. My only complaint was that it was noisy. Everyone seemed to be talking so loud as to talk over the table next to them which made the place loud.Thank you for your review! Yes, it can get noisy when we are slammed, such as when we have a pre-concert crowd. It is not typically that loud. Thanks again for your wonderful review of our food, service and decor!Steve S. a Lafayette favorite known for grilling aged beef & fresh Louisiana seafood over southern hardwoods in a casual yet upscale atmosphere.
Charley G's has become mine and my husbands favorite special occasion dinner destination. Sure the food is on the expensive side, but I find it worth every penny and never leave disappointed. I love that they have seasonal menus and I find their dishes are definitely high end and inspired. The staff are so kind and welcoming and have great recommendations. The atmosphere is relaxed and doesn't feel pretentious. I have attended one of their "tasting" events which was so much fun. Loved learning about a local rum brand and sampling cocktails and small plates. I would recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors alike.Michelle, Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We really appreciate your kind words. I look forward to sharing this with our team and we look forward to serving you again. Thanks again.

DON'S SEAFOOD More Than Eighty Years of Exceptional Seafood South Louisiana locals and visitors have been drawn to DON'S authentic Cajun cuisine for more than 80 years. Menu selections including traditional Landry family recipes, and more recent original
I was looking forward to visiting Don's after an absence of at least a year. It's just that...it holds nostalgic value for many travelers like myself (and Lafayette residents) but doesn't really measure up in seafood quality. My shrimp gumbo was just muddy water, it would appear, with a few morsels of tiny shrimp. The seafood platter featured small shrimp in a variety of preparations, but with the common ground of....average, at best. It was all bland and tepid. A disappointment. On the bright side, drinks were stiff and service was attentive. I wish Don's delivered on quality to match the semi-steep prices and the expectations of first-rate food.

I absolutely love their chargrilled oysters. Typically always get the Holly Beach Slammer and itâs always great. Was wanting crawfish and got that. I was disappointed. They werenât spicy at all and many of them looked like they had been crushed before being boiled. Will definitely go back but will stay with oysters from now on.

Servings were smaller, prices higher, waiter ruder, air conditioning way too cold. Liked it on previous trip but would not recommend or return.
