Very kind and attentive service, excellent food (the best meat we've had in Santa Pola) in a nice atmosphere. The kids loved the "chicken nuggets", home made and great tasting. Slightly higher prices than many other restaurants in the area but still we didn't break the 80⬠level for a family of 4 including a bottle of wine. Recommended!

Santa Pola Vale Lounge, waterfront marina and also facing Santa Pola beach on the other side, with multitude of beach-umbrellas in summer. Had coffees there â very pleasant, looking out to sea, will come again to have meals. I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), all sightseeing has to be well-researched and not overly taxing; I wear a legbrace. Carparking spots closeby.

This was our first ever visit to Batiste. We arrived without a booking & we were seated almost immediately. This was no surprise as there were very few patrons as it was early & off season. The menu is extensive & while there is great emphasis on fish, there are also many alternatives including a variety of steaks. The food could not be faulted & we both enjoyed what we got. The service was efficient but our waiter, while attending to our needs, seemed a little too serious. The food was excellent. My only criticism would be that it is a big restaurant & there were only two other tables occupied & it is fairly expensive. It is more for formal dining than for a casual meal which is what we were looking for on the occasion. I would however recommend this place for quality dining.

Great place to eat if you are down Santa Pola as a wide variety of food and drinks and have staff that genuinely want to serve you. In our family visit, we had two children and a fussy eater and managed to satisfy their needs. Paella was delicious and prices are a good price for what you get. Restaurant Lugano specialises in Mediterranean food and has a very wide range of food on the menu.What a joy you were so comfortable in our restaurant! Our mission is that our customers feel at home and enjoy food and service. Thank you very much for your words Jason, so you make us improve even more. We wait for you whenever you want to return to our restaurant in the port of Santa Pola.

This is a very nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There is an excellent tapas menu with a wide choice to satisfy most tastes. Prices were also excellent for the quality of the food served. The house wine at 10 euro was particularly good. This restaurant is worth finding in Santa Pola but be aware that it is very popular with locals and you will almost certainly have to book to have any chance of getting a table.

We visited Santa Pola over Christmas.... and researched over the internet to find a nice restaurant for Christmas day lunch. What a choice!! Beautiful surroundings....and the best meal....we have EVER eaten in Spain. The staff were marvellous....and the food perfect. Although we were the only British in the restaurant that day....everyone made us feel as if we belonged. I cannot recommend highly enough! We will be returning for Christmas this year....and the main reason is because of the experience that we had in Vintage Restaurant & Bar

11/06/17. After a few days in the beautiful Spanish mountains we decided to take our baby to the beach for the first time. Not wanting somewhere touristy we took a recommendation to go to Santa Pola. After consulting TripAdvisor, we decided on lunch (probably paella) at El Capitan. Leaving my husband to pack up on the beach and wanting to feed my baby, I walked in to find no staff, no reserved table signs and an empty restaurant, so sat down with my baby at a table and had a lovely couple of minutes looking at the sea. Our peaceful moment was shattered by the rudest man I have ever come across hurtling over to the table screaming "GET UP, GET UP, MOVE, THIS TABLE RESERVED, YOU ASK NEXT TIME". So taken aback and shocked, I just left whilst the waiter glared at me like I was a piece of dirt. Initially, I was very upset (not at all like me), but I think this was the shock of being shouted at like this when I was by myself, with my child, in a country that treats people (especially children) wonderfully. However, now I'm not upset, I'm angry. I have visited 40 odd countries in my life and have been to various parts of Spain probably 15 times and I have never had an experience like this. I really hope the waiter in question reads this and understands how much his actions upset me and my baby. I also hope he realises I will go out of my way to tell anyone I meet to avoid this restaurant like the plague . A simple this table is reserved would have done. Furthermore, he could have said it in Spanish - I speak it very well. The worst experience I have had in a restaurant, ever.

Walked past this restaurant and noticed how busy it was, must be good, and it was! We managed to get a table inside and had a plate of Spanish meat to share, all were delicious. Followed by chicken in Roquefort sauce, again really tasty. The wine was a really good Sauvignon blanc, couldnât believe the price of it when we received the bill â¬5, the whole bill was only â¬29. Great value for money and definitely worth a visit.

I was with the party of 9 that had the humiliating experience of having the police called after making a complaint to the manager. The details have already been posted and we know the truth although the manager has tried to ridicule us once again in his response to the review. We were a group of professional women having a lovely time in Alicante. We have never in our many years knowing each other, EVER refused to pay a bill or had the police called upon us. We were not at all rude and the waiter who served us spoke perfect English. He was lovely infact. Our complaint is against the bully of a manager who thought he could intimidate, take photos and film 9 women on his phone until he found out that amongst us were 2 lawyers a high ranking police officer. The Spanish police made him remove the images thankfully. Yes we drank wine with our meals. Is that a crime but I certainly did not drink the disgusting shots he tried to silence us with. He threatened us and said we were not allowed to leave a bad review on trip advisor. Then tried to have a selfie with us. The oddest behaviour I have ever experienced. I do not expect a serious response or any truth from this man but if you are a tourist, stay well away as he obviously does not want your custom.Me mantengo en lo dicho en respuestas anteriores. No solicitaron hablar conmigo hasta que llegó la hora de pagar. Se negaron a pagar y tuve que llamar a la policÃa para que lo hicieran. Los platos y las botellas de vino estaban vacÃos. Tengo fotos que lo demuestran. Se puede ver en el resto de opiniones que los clientes están plenamente satisfechos con el servicio de La SidrerÃa. Lamento la situación pero no la considero justa. Saludos

Really Nice and tasty food. The staff is vey friendly and you feel very welcome. Only Thing dragging one star down was the crust has had too much, so it was burned and Black.But its definitly a place we ll revisit
