This could be the most beautiful garden in the Old Town if they hade done a little gardening.Understand tat things are natural,but faded flowers could have been removed.Sunday at 10 o`clock we sat dovn in beautiful sun.A wet blanket gave us the frist bad impression.My wife trousers where soak wet.We went inside to order food and drinks.Sorry we have no food,the cook is on holiday one waiter explained.So we just ordered one beer and a cup of coffee.Unfortunately there was a quarter cup left but we where told that they would make more.We saw no coffee during our stay.After a while a waiter came out with two food plates,and we wonder how come?In the cafe again we asked how other guests could have food a not us. The male waiter said he had not been informed,so he had only a small piece of cake left.His college contacted him and said that they had food???!!! The responsible for this place could have made this to the best place in the Old Town,but with this kind of staff,impossible.We do not understand how many Norwegian restaurants can survive with this kind of staff!Just unbelievable.It seems that to many in this busiess are unqualified and miss the right attitude to work in these places.Verry sorry to see how a big potential is taken vare of!

Small menu and not to much thas was interesting. But this place looks more like a pub. Okey price for a normal beer, considering norwegian prices. Tried a shrimp sandwich, not good, box shrimps. However they have some local beer that was good and worth a try. Very friendly staff with good service.

This must be one of the best Places if you want to drink beer because they have a great selection, and on the menu all dishes come With recommendation of which beer to drink if one wants to drink beer. But even if we were not going to have a beer, we got excellent service! It is a huge Place. We had both beefburgers and Fish, and the plates were well presented and the portions were generous.

This is a very popular and relaxed location for a bite to eat. As my Norwegian language skills are lacking I followed those already sitting at the tables and ordered beer with an order of waffles. It was a good but unusual combination. Besides the waffles, the salads and soups looked like a good choice. Beer with Waffles are never wrong :) Thank you very much for your friendly review.

Centrally located in Fredrikstad this gem of a burger joint appeared. Rustic, yet modern and stylish interior. Not too big, and well visited. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu had a good selection of burgers and a good selection of local beer. Non alcoholic options of drinks as well that would go well with burgers. The burger were incredible juicy with lovely selections of sides on the menu. I loved the Deep Blue with the parmesan fries on the side.
