You can stay only to relax and enjoy the scenic view, experience milking in the barn from 16th century, or trek in the mountains! We also have a cafe for those of you visiting only for a day trip. Nestled in between snow capped peaks and the fjord, this place offers amazing views, rustic charm and countryside calm in abundance. Activities range from soothing countryside walks to fjord fishing, trekking and mountaineering. Be sure to also take the trip up to the mountain village of Bostolen where you can walk to beautiful mountain lakes.

A fabulous evening with an even better host
Reviewed By ChokkFew times you end up in a place where you just feel welcome and stepping into their fireplace house dating 300 years back was like stepping back in time. The hosts were really nice and friendly - great storyteller as well. The food was locally inspired coming from both the sea and the mountain - and accompanied with a Norwegian folksong by the host it does not get much better. It was a really cosy evening - and I wish many more could be inspired to experience an evening in the Devold environment.

You will find us in Kinsarvik, the hart of the Hardanger Fjord. Huse Gjestegard is a farm that has stood here since 1826 and was previously part of the cluster yard at Huse. The main building was extended for the last time in 1924. We have gradually restored the house to recreate the original style but with modern comfort. We run today a traditional farm with sheep, and taking in addition guests, for overnight stays.

Reviewed By FukushinExcelent stay at a wonderful place. Everything was as published on internet site, no surprises. Quiet and beautiful with surroundings. Good bed, recently reformed bathroo, working kitchen appliances and enough room for a family of four. Would reccommend to anyone intersted in visiting the area.
