Sjuseter is an idyllic cluster of farms by a small lake 250 m above sea level. In the lake you can swim and fish. There are also nice lakes for trout fishing in the area. You can hire a boat with motor by the Hardangerfjord (6 km). The cabins have a high standard and are very cosy and comfortable. During the winter Sjuseter is a great skiing area. Minimum rent 2 days.

Kaldhusseter Tourist Cabin lies in a sheltered spot 600 masl, near Heimste Kaldhussetervatnet. Short walking distance from surfaced motor road. The cabin, which was built in 1958, is manned during the season and has 43 beds in two, three and four bed rooms. There is a smaller cabin next to the main cabin, Tossebrobu, which is open off season when the main cabin is closed. Tossebrobu is an unmanned tourist key-cabin stocked with provisions. The cabins are an excellent starting point for hikers wishing to take the well-developed footpath network that leads to Herdalen, Grotli, Reinsdalssetra, or to Danskehytta.

Dysja farm is magnificently situated with a beautiful 180-degree view over Vindafjord and Krossfjord, at Vormestrand on Ropeidhalvoya peninsula in Ryfylke. The farm was one of only four in the hamlet, which until recent could only be reached by boat. Dysja Fjordhytter offers two semi-detached cabins, each of which has three bedrooms with double beds, as well a sofa bed in the loft (8 beds total per cabin). Today, a road allows you to drive right up to the cabins. Fishing is excellent, and your host has made an effort to provide just about everything you need. The guest harbour offers boats available for hire and a gutting table with running water. Each cabin has a boathouse with electrical power and room to store your catch and equipment. Your catch might well include cod, cusk, ling, saithe and pollock. Nearby is a swimming area close to where you can choose to swim from the beach or rockfaces. Numerous marked hiking trails in the area tempt you to explore the woodlands, hills and mountains. By boat the journey to the town of Stavanger takes about 90 minutes, with four departures daily. If you have a car, recommended excursions include Haukelifjell, Pulpit Rock and Folgefonna glacier.

Rondetunes is an outdoor paradise in a unique mountain area at Rondane Nationalpark with outdoor enthusiasts as host. The Danish-owned outdoor center is set back from traffic and noise, in a small grove of pine and birch forest, with deers in the garden. Guests can stay in cozy and simple cabins or in own tent or camper next to the large campfire hut. In the main building there is an equipment shop and a café. The shop sells fishing and touring map of the area. Rondetunet is an excellent base for mountain hikes. Park at Rondetunet and get guidens to mountain tours that suit you. There is opportunity for mountain tours, canoe tours, bike tours, fishing and photography, as well as hunting in the fall. In winter there is 60 km of cross-country trails and unlimited amount of mountain to cross. We rent both cross-country skis, backcountry skies, snowshoeing and polka.
