Langenuen is a small holiday-resort and budget accomodation at the fjord of the same name on the island Stord. From the south you reach the island by a tunnel, from the north by ferry. Because of our traffic-favorable situation and the fjord (350m sea border) Langenuen is an ideal starting point for an active vacation in the coastal region of Norway. One finds us close to the E39 in the center between Stavanger and Bergen, 14 km north of Leirvik.

Reviewed By Cheryl SWhat a wonderful place! My daughter and I stayed in one of the small cabins. I was a bit reticent since there were shared restroom and shower facilities, but this was one of the cleanest motel and campground places I have ever seen, with many wonderful touches, a little treehouse, a little free library in the laundry room, very nice laundry facilities with payment on the honor system, and above all, a spectacularly gorgeous setting on the fjord with a view of ships coming through and mountains and set in a wooded area. The beds and linens were comfortable and even the smallest, least expensive cabin had a stovetop, refrigerator and sink. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice view, affordable and easy to find
Reviewed By 782piapHostel/Motel with the best view ever. Good prices, and easy to find, close to the ferry Hella-Dragsvik-Vangsnes. A bit outdated rooms and furniture, had a small bathroom and a small kitchen. The bed was a bit worn, but we slept well. The customers are supposed to clean when they leave, but the ones before us seem to have forgotten that :-( Had nice outdoor seating and we had a small balcony were we had all the view of the fjord. It is a small shop at the hotell in Vangsnes in walking distance close to the ferry, where you can buy groceries. The family who owns it is nice and friendly. A good place to stay if you are hiking in the mountains, and you meet other hikers here too.

Reviewed By WhatEyeThinkA lovely apartment, with all mod cons e.g. dishwasher (no microwave). Really clean and tidy, all bed linen crisp and clean. Great location and pleasant village. Just paint the front door to make the outside more appealing. I'd definitely stay in this again!

The motel was first opened in 1988 and has a high and modern standard in all of it's 20 rooms, one of them adapted for the physically disabled. We also have meeting rooms and grouprooms, making us a good and fair-priced alternative for courses and conferences. Despite it's proximity to E-39 (see the map), the motel is well shielded from traffic noise and situated in idyllic surroundings.

Reviewed By Felix TBen's kafe of Motell is a nice place stopping by to eat before driving to Egersund. It's 15 minutes from downtown. They have a big sitting area and delicious burgers and chips. This is a recommended "fast eating stop"

Reviewed By Tomas933Stor hytte med 2 soverom, det var det positive. Tett dusj pga hår. Nesten ikke kjøkkenutstyr, manglet flere glass. 1 gryte på 1 liter til 4 personer. Flere lyspærer manglet. Plen ikke slått på flere uker. Wi-Fi virket ikke. Generelt dårlig vedlikehold. Måtte legge på sengetøy selv. Vanskelig å komme i kontakt med personalet.

Reviewed By ccgarciaoBeautiful family-run hotel/restaurant. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. Hey messed up our reservation, but made up for it by giving us a whole apartment with a living room and kitchen and did not let us pay for any of our meals. Everything was clean, comfortable and the food was delicious. Beautiful views as well.

Fikk nystekt egg og bacon når vi kom til frokost! Gode aktivitetsmuligheter rett utenfor på plenen. Benker, volleyball og trampoline. Stort fellesområde inne med tv-stue. Kommer gjerne igjen!
