Brought friends here for a libation and a bite. Our waitress Bella was pleasant enough but missing on getting our beverages correct. We had to remind her several times of our drink orders. I specifically asked that my sandwich bread not be toasted. When I was presented with a sandwich that appeared toasted since the bread was HARD, I respectfully requested the sandwich be replaced. The floor manager, Jessica brought the sandwich back to me explaining that the sandwich was not toasted, that the “heat lamps” dry the bread ! Why not just replace the bread? She was condescending and rude. She should have a lesson in customer service. We left not receiving service or food warranting our money or return. If you merely want to look at the server’s chests, this is your place. If you want decent service go elsewhere.

I reserved a table to take our out of town guests to watch a Preds game. We got a great table but had to request several times for them to turn one of the TV's to the Preds game. We ordered SW Eggrolls, quesadillas, and, at our server's recommendation, a pan of nachos. OMG! It took over 30 minutes to get our apps and then the nachos arrived. The chips were so stale we could hardly bite them and most of the chips were glued to the bottom of the pan and we couldn't pry them up. Obviously they had been sitting around a while. Not much on the chips either, just some gloppy canned cheese sauce, a few diced tomatoes and two blobs of sour cream. We finally got the attention of our server and had her take them back. She did offer to make them again but we said no. Then the eggrolls arrived and again it's as if they had been sitting around. They were gooey inside, not done, and soggy on the outside. While we were trying to eat those (we were starving!), the quesadillas came. What a disaster! Little dried up tortillas that were not even grilled enough to hold them together. When the server put them on the table the top tortillas flew off the bottom. We told her right then to take them back. I also had a beet/farro salad that was so dry and tasteless. The beet slice on the top was so dry it had started to curl up on the edges. Needless to say, we got out of there as soon as we could and went home and ordered pizza. What a horrible experience!Hello Karen,I want to personally apologize for your dining experience with us here in The Draft Room at Kings. I would look forward to speaking with so I can convey this in person and attempt to earn your business back for the future. Had a very positive server experience although the food was average in my opinion. Had a large group, probably others may have enjoyed their meal more than myself. Decent beer selection (nice happy hour pricing) and pretty good menu selection. Not a stand alone restaurant or on a main street. Buffalo chicken sandwich was REALLY spicy! Nashville hot chicken platter was ok, cobb salad was very good.. Didn't eat outdoors but looked like a nice area to sit and enjoy.Hello,My name is David Carulla and my brother and I own the Jefferson's in Brentwood. We’ve previously visited Local Taco in Lexington... pleasantly surprised to learn this location has table service. We started with chips and queso. Do it, don’t think about it, just order it... outstanding. My husband had a burrito bowl and I had two tacos... one with brisket and bbq sauce - the other with blackened grouper. Everything we had was delicious. Taco shells are thin, soft flour and I know there was a gluten free option. Service was fast and friendly.

Had a great meal and martinis at the bar. Service was top notch. The wedge salad was perfect and very reasonable. Steaks were cooked exactly to order and tasty, although the amount of salt on the crust was a bit heavy. Lot of choices on the menu.

This is my second time to visit Stout's in Brentwood. This time I had my burger "skinny"; no bun and on a bed of arugula. It was fantastic and of course, fewer calories. We were a party of 3 and one of the burgers (even though we ordered some pink) was just not done enough for my wife. She had already cut it in half too. We asked our server to just heat it up.......and shorty comes out a completely new burger cooked perfectly. Give them a try - we think you will not be disappointed.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Reviewed By WilliamWillieWilson

Ah yes, the American chain restaurant offering fried foods of every ilk. You can find them by the hundreds in the U.S., and of course they're never as good as the independently-owned restaurants. But Cheddar's is alright for a chain. They certainly named the franchise cleverly, because most Americans start salivating at the mere mention of cheddar cheese. I know I do. Well played corporate office. What surprised me were the enormous portions for decent prices, a winning combination for family dining purposes. Our meal averaged roughly $17 per person for a bunch of skinny folks with big appetites. And when I say large portions, I mean HUGE portions! Yeah, that's an American characteristic!I started with an appetizer of onion rings, and a MASSIVE stack of rings arrived! They were very good and the batter was just right, super crispy while complimenting the onions. These are actually some of the better onion rings in town, especially for a chain restaurant! When I ordered fried chicken, I had no idea I would get a dish that resembled the 53-ounce steak I once consumed in Idaho. I mean this chicken was GIGANTIC, two enormous butterflied breasts filling up the entire large platter upon which they rested. The chicken was perfectly juicy inside, but unfortunately it's not the traditional fried, thick chicken breast that most prefer. Instead, the chicken is actually pounded so thin that there is more batter than there is actual meat. In fact, the batter is so extremely rich, you feel like you're having a mild heart attack by the time you're halfway done. This champion eater of large quantities hasn't asked for a to-go box in probably 40 years. But the rich batter defeated me and I had to end my streak and ask for a box! You can feel the grease in your arteries! I could have done it if I skipped the giant pile of onion rings. I will say that the sides of buttered corn and fries were tasty.Cheddar's has decent food for a chain. Our waiter was professional and courteous. In fact, he's probably the first server I've ever had who both kept my water glass full at all times AND put my appetizer in front of me instead of in the middle of the table for all to grab. That earned him a 30% tip, because I've been waiting my entire adult life for a server to do both of those things simultaneously. I wish I remembered his name. Tall, friendly African-American man with a tattoo slightly visible on his neck. Give this man a raise! He's probably the best waiter I've had in my life (outside of an ultra-expensive restaurant)!I've read complaints about servers who don't bring silverware to the table, or napkins. Not our waiter. He was on top of it! I've also read about trouble with restaurant's water quality or issues with customers substituting side items. The water quality problem seems to have been fixed, and I had no trouble substituting both sides items that came with the chicken. So hopefully this Cheddar's has remedied these issues as it seemed that way to us.
